Unfortunately, the night before our planned stay I had to go to the emergency room. I ended up being admitted and had to spend the entirety of our planned trip in the hospital. The hotel continues to refuse to issue a refund, as does Hotels.com/Expedia. I even offered proof. Now I have to bills to pay for that weekend. If a hospital stay doesn’t constitute a refund, I’d like to know what does. Worst customer service ever.

Pros: clean, comfortable room. Had a wonderful dinner at Lombardi’s next door. Lovely walk around the marina area. Cons: arrived early and asked about early check in. Receptionist was nearly rude. Later she was smoking out front near the front door. It was very off-putting.

Location is next to the marina and it was absolutely beautiful, especially lit up for winter. Restaurants extremely close with many different options. Parking wasnt a hassle. The room was good. Clean. Spacious enough for us. We did utilize a pet friendly room (see below for the not so good) that had a back door leading directly into a pet friendly area for their relief which was pretty great. Breakfast was delicious! The not so good: The bed was not comfortable for us. It was on the too soft side of the meter. The reservation listing for rooms didnt allow us to reserve a pet specific room. Which was beyond frustrating at check in. The worst part was their pet policy (note the full policy was NOT outlined on expedia) and their pet policy had a weight limit for pets..... if we would have known this, we would have reserved somewhere else. I will say that i did sign the pet policy form and continued our stay with our big, deaf dog. She seemed to think the second bed was a perfect spot to sleep and enjoy her stay.

The first night when I showed up I showed up later in the evening and when I did the door into my room was held cracked open with the door lock thing from the inside when I got in there the room was freezing and smelled like cigerette smoke. I didn’t notify anybody because I’m not one to complain and it was late and I was exhausted. It was just a little bit discouraging.

The suite is worth it, the beds were firm yet soft enough to sleep on comfortably, the view made was spectacular you could see the olympic mountain range from the bedroom also for the huge balcony. Breakfast was delivered on time which was very nice to be able to enjoy breakfast from the room
