The hostel is basic and not at all fancy but its clean, functional and cheap - so very good value. Excellent buffet breakfast - with lots of variety - and very friendly - chilled staff. So for me - it gets 5*****!

Hotel in the middle of Kilpisjärvi village

Perfect for any activity in the middle of Kilpisjärvi village, close to the lake and the shop. Room was a bit outdated, but clean and comfortable.

Praktiskt med litet kök och bra utymme med två sängar i ett rum och två sängar i ett annat rum, dusch och fin bastu. Säng helt okej. Frukost ingår - många klagar på lite utbud och annat och så vidare, men jag är nöjd med att det ingår frukost.

Gammalt hotell där tiden stått still. Passar sig nog bäst på vintern, blev ganska varmt på rummet mitt i sommaren. Helt okej skick för var det var. Rent och städat. Nära till mataffären.

Ok, mutta vaatisi remontin

Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja kaikki palvelut periaatteessa toimi ok. Turvallista oli. Siisteys oli siivoamisen osalta hyvässä kunnossa, mutta rakenteellisesti sekä rakennus että huone oli kovin vanha ja remontoimaton. Ravintola olisi vaatinut pöytävarauksen ennakkoon, mikä tuntui todella oudolta hiljaisena iltana. Lähdimme muualle syömään. Lisäksi autolaturilla oli 20€ aloitusmaksu. Auto jäi lataamatta. Huoneen korkeaan hintaan (170€/yö) nähden odotin huomattavasti parempaa.
