Situated within the Coosawattee River Resort on the widest stretch of the Coosawattee River, you can sunbathe on the rocks, relax on the deck, swing for two, nap in hammocks, or soak in the hot tub. For athletic guests, there's a lit half-court for basketball, a horseshoe pit, volleyball, and 4-square games. The riverside fire pit with ample seating is perfect for roasting marshmallows and sharing ghost stories under the stars.
After a day of adventures, retire to one of the luxurious bedrooms. The upper level features a king-sized bed with a private bath, deck, and large TV. The main level has two full beds and a bunk bed with deck access, while the terrace level includes a king bed plus two bunks with full beds on the bottom and twins on top, also with deck access. Within the Coosawattee River Resort you will have access to the Recreation Center, which includes:
An enclosed, heated Junior Olympic-sized pool with 8-feet at the deep end and a large shallow end for the small ones, it's comfortable swimming year-round.
A heated kiddie pool is available for the very little ones where they can splash & play in shallow water.
Off of the Recreation Center's lobby are the Fitness Center and Game Room. The Fitness Center is complete with treadmills, weight machines, free weights, rowing machines, and exercise bikes. Satellite TV and Wi-Fi are also available. The Game Room is a coin-operated arcade with games, pool tables, and an air hockey machine.
The Recreation Center also has other outside attractions, which include tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts, plus an 18-hole miniature golf course. The equipment can be checked out at the Recreation Center desk.
