pet walking area un maintained... no place to put doggy bags . Bed was not comfortable in any way . minimal duvet. Did not sleep well, nearby car was key accessed several times in middle of the night ( post 2 am) . For the price.... not great.

The hotel is nice enough. Staff super friendly. Our room had some water damage and could use some TLC. Called room service but no one answered. Called front desk got put on hold and no one picked up the call.

The actual room was decent but very basic. Access from front desk to our room was like a going through a maze. We had to walk through the main pool area rolling our suitcases around in order to get to our room which was in a separate building. And there was no elevator. This seemed so backward and in much need of renovations. The room was clean but clearly in need of updates. This is probably an older motel which is right around the corner from several other nicer and newer hotels. The staff was friendly. We decided to stay somewhere else on our way back. We were surprised given the high star reviews.

Hotel was only a 2 minutes drive to west Edmonton mall, but the people that hang around the hotel were a bit unsettling. Hotel does have security but they still hang around the outside of the hotel in the parking lots ( both front and back parking lot )
