This property was okay…. You can tell they are trying hard to update it and make some changes but it’s not quite there yet. A few issues we had were with the noise. The doors are not soundproofed and the housekeeping carts create such a loud racket, honestly sounded like the hallway and door was being pounded with hail as they walked past. We were there for a wedding so needed the rest and didn’t get it. The gym is a safety hazard and injury waiting to happen. There’s precisely 5 pieces of equipment and all would not pass any safety inspections whatsoever. And lastly, we were woken up at 5am to pigeons outside our window. Maybe some bird spikes around the property would be helpful? The breakfast was okay, you got what you needed but it was a tiny room with communal seating.

The staff are very friendly and easy to communicate with. The location for me was convenient I did have a hard time initially finding the access off Stony Plain Rd as I am not familiar with Edmonton. Older building with some maintenance issues but clean.

The fact that there is a Smitty's restaurant attached to the hotel is very convenient. The complimentary breakfast is also very good in the hotel. The staff at Smitty's are also very happy and friendly. It was a pleasure to eat there and the meals were great. A special thank you to Anastasiia for providing wonderful service.
