This was our first time back to our favorite beach in five years. The property manager gave clear instructions for check-in and was very quick, within a minute or two, in responding to my texts with questions after arrival. The house is pretty true to the pics in the listing. Beautiful house, well laid out, with gorgeous views from pretty much every window. Sunset thru the trees from the front porch is really gorgeous. Furniture comfortable, bed in the main bedroom was better than the new one we like at home, water pressure was great and the main bathroom shower was very nice. Kitchen appliances all function as if new even though they aren't. New gas grill on the back deck. We really liked the house but there were some issues that have to be mentioned. 1. We could not set a reasonable temp on either the upstairs or downstairs thermostats. Even when setting a temporary hold, the thermostat would reset to the permanent hold of 72 before the time set on the temporary hold. Almost as if being controlled by app. Nightly, we were awoken to the higher temp reset because we would be sweating. 2. The interior walls of the upstairs bedrooms, including the main, do not extend to the ceiling. This allows sound and light intrusion from the main rooms on the lower level (kitchen and main living space). It was also easy to hear the sound from the bedroom when in the kitchen or living room. IMO, this is an important detail that should be included in the listing. 3. The week before our booki

Seaclusion Jermery Cay Edisto Beach SC

Upon arrival we immediately noticed cigarette butts and small pieces of trash around the back of the property (which we picked up) checking in instructions indicated keyless entry and code given. Entry was KEY and locked in lockbox. called AvantStay and took a while to get correct code. Inside house was/is beautiful - very clean. Note to VRBO kitchen sink handle is loose and kept coming back on after shutting off. Issues with TV. Came on then after about hr shut off. Called # and was told someone would call back. They did not. got a text the next night asking if TV was working. (at the time of text, it was) but again would cut off. this happened entire time of stay. Rented golf cart. Payment received but was not sent waiver to sign. Key was locked in box and had to call to get code. was told someone would call back in 5min and finally got the code 1 HOUR later. (having to wait takes away time on beach) Charcoal grill was small, rusted and hadn't been clean from previous use. (up graded grill would be nice) Minus the glitches overall stay was pleasant, comfortable, relaxing and enjoyed by all. We do plan on making this a yearly event and most likely will repeat in January/Feburary 2026. I want to give a special Thank you to Rae. She was very cordial, helpful.

Peaceful Retreat

This was exactly what we were looking for. Not many people, quiet private beach. Beautiful nature everywhere. The home was also beautiful, clean, and the hosts / communication were also great. We plan to be back!

Beautiful Property

This house was as stunning as the images shown and outfitted with high-end appointments. Beds were comfortable with fine linens. Kitchen was supplied with most everything you would need to prepare a meal for your family. There is plenty of space to spread out, too. We did have to ask for the appropriate code to access the lockbox once we arrived, but management addressed this in a timely manner. Note that the fireplace - a feature we specifically sought out when planning our wintertime stay in Edisto - is not operational. We opted to add-on a masseuse visit, and that was really nice. I look forward to returning to this property in warm weather to enjoy the outdoor amenities and location!

Wonderful place

Everything we needed in a beautiful home. Slight glitch in instructions, no code on door. Had to call in but quickly resolved. Otherwise, lovely place.
