Great Stay for a Bachelor Weekend

Overall great place to stay. Ample locations to sleep, open concept providing a lot of space to entertain inside and out. Plenty of entertainment with the amenities offered. Properly cleaned and maintained. Communication was easy and professional with the Owner. Highly recommended for all occasions.

Top Choice

Sylvester is by far the best host I have come across. He checks in on you and is very prompt on getting back to you if you have questions. You won't have issues at all with his communication. The photos of the property does not do it justice. It is absolutely beautiful and has everything for each age group to enjoy. We left the property a few times but really enjoyed being at the home because you never were bored. It is in a quiet neighborhood and it is very large and spacious. We sure felt at home while we were there. It was close to the grocery store and other things you may need. The beds were very comfortable and the entire house was very clean and there many were blankets throughout the house to use if you wanted to sit on the couch or go outside and a blanket was always available to grab on the go. The gaming room was large and had many options for you to play. It was the best hangout spot to be. The back deck had many sitting areas to enjoy. We loved the outdoor theater area. I can go on about this property. It is absolutely a must see. We will definitely be back in the near future. Thank you Sylvester for making our trip a memorable one.

Great

Briefly: -Fantastic place. Interesting/upscale decor. Tons of liveable space. Tons of things to do. Could spend a week on the property alone without being bored. Hot tub, fire pit, fire table, board games, sauna, pool table, etc. -Great, truly fantastic host. Communication was the best I've ever experienced. We texted and spoke on the phone multiple times about (perceived, mea culpa) issues that were thoroughly addressed or explained. For instance, I didn't think the hot tub smelled chlorinated - Sylvester thoroughly explained that this was due to the use of a different antimicrobial and he had just tested levels. -Check in and check out was super easy. This was probably the easiest check out we've had in any stay anywhere. -15min to Del Water gap, Bushkill falls, grocery stores. Overall I'd come here again, hands down.

Top notch

This was the best rental we have had to date. The property was very clean top to bottom. This place has incredible amenities both indoor and out. Everything worked the way it was supposed to. Sylvester the property manager made himself available was very hospitable without being intrusive. We were are grandkids heroes for renting here but honestly we're heading back for an adults only soon as this place has something for everyone!

Great House - Amenities Exactly as Listed

My wife and I brought our 2 dogs for a long and relaxing weekend away from NYC. We felt comfortable from the get go. Instructions for utilizing all of the features the house had to offer were clear and easily attainable. Sylvester was a great host and very responsive.

Perfect Trip

First time renting an house and this property had everything. It rained two days out of our trip but the game room and the rest of the house, was so well thought out we were never bored. It was a last minute trip and was great! Sylvester, thank you for being so quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely love to come back and will recommend it.

Peaceful Poconos Escape

Our family spent several nights here for a small reunion and had a great time. Host was super friendly and responsive. House had plenty of amenities, and lots of private, quiet outdoor space in a secluded nook. Note to those with mobility needs that there are several flights of stairs necessary to get in and out of the house.

Great for Family Reunion

We had three separate families coming together for a reunion. We had kids ranging 5-15. The worked out perfectly. Everyone had space, the kitchen was well stocked, plenty of games and activities… everyone was happy! The owner is attentive and considerate. Great place!

Visit for Family Reunion

I have stayed at many places that left much to be desired, but this place was above par in comparison to those places. This house and all that comes with it was very well thought out by the owners for a convenient stay by its visitors. I traveled with my kids (9 total), my husband, sister in law, and her dog. There was enough space for everyone to spread out, but also hang out together. Everyone had a great time with one another and we did not feel cramped. The basement had a lot of activities and lounge space, and so did the outside space. The main level of the floor was super convenient for me because there were no stairs to worry with when it comes to my 15 month old and my 9 year old with autism. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could want and more. I had to work during a few a days of my stay and there was a space to do that and also life was easy there because the house had everything. I did not need to bring anything other than our clothes and buy food. The location was pretty private for the most part, but the neighbor at the top of the hill has some seriously bright flood lights that shined into the windows and lit up the entire front yard. Also, the main road, although not visible, is right there so you hear all the vehicles pass when outside. I suppose most people would not spend as much time as we did at the house, so that may not be an issue for them. I will say, though, that you can't really hear the vehicles that much while in the house. The house was super clean when we got there and I did not feel like I had to bomb it with disinfectant. Sylvester was easy to get in touch with and I had no issues with communication with him. Only thing that I will say is the price of the stay was very high. I have not stayed at VRBO properties before, so that was a MAJOR sticker shock. I wish the cost was not so high because I could have had two beach trips for the cost of this one, but the time we traveled in July is always more money.

The Perfect Getaway Home! Amazing Host!

I can’t believe that my family and I found a home that hit all of our checkboxes! This home is amazing, spacious, has so many amenities and is ridiculously clean and accommodating. Sylvester is an amazing host and his communication is open and inviting from the very start. His home is so logistically thought out that we did not have a single question our entire stay! There are so many games and amenities available that we never had a dull moment. Even our pups had a great time! I ended up leaving my keys behind and Sylvester went above and beyond to give me a call. I can’t thank him enough for his hospitality! We would love to revisit in the future!

Our stay was AMAZING!!!

To start, communicating with Sylvester was soooo easy! Anything I had questions about, he was so quick and effective with his responses. I appreciated that so much! The pictures does not do this house justice! Seeing it in person was even better than what my husband and I was expecting. Our friends enjoyed the game room!!! We honestly didn’t even play the games we brought because the game room had so many there to choose from. Everything was clean and tidy! My favorite room was definitely the kitchen. It’s so big, has EVERYTHING you need to make a meal, not to mention the night we grilled, it was perfect! Our little getaway for the week was definitely worth it. Thank you Sylvester for everything! Will definitely be visiting in the near future 😁👍🏾

Immaculate home, great host

Our stay at Castle Rock Acres was very relaxing and we couldn’t have asked for more. The host was very attentive and responded asap to our questions before and during our trip. It’s clear he takes pride in hosting guests at his home and is concerned about their happiness during the stay. The home itself is wonderful. Although it was just my spouse and me, we thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities, games and amenities provided. This house has it all; from a sauna to multiple grills and seating options outside. We took full advantage of everything. The kitchen is the best stocked of a rental home that we’ve seen. It’s all very thoughtfully and logically laid out also. It was a pleasure to sit outside and watch the squirrels play in the backyard while drinking our morning coffee. There’s total seclusion and privacy in the backyard, which we appreciated. If you’re considering booking, just do it. You won’t have any regrets.

Great spot for our bachelor weekend

Our bachelor weekend at this property was fantastic. All we were hoping for was a nice relaxing weekend with a lot of time outdoors, and this place did not disappoint. We took advantage of pretty much everything offered outside, and had virtually no complaints. Where else can you find a place with hammocks, a fire pit with a grill grate option, a fire table, an outdoor projector & speaker, a huge deck, a grill AND flat top grill AND smoker, and more? You can't - we looked. On the rare occasion we had a question, the owner was extremely responsive and got back to us right away. If we ever do another weekend like this, this property would be our first stop to look into.

Great House!! Best Host Ever!!!

This house was by far the best house me and my guest have stayed in. The host made our experience 10 times more enjoyable. From booking this house to checking in he made sure we was comfortable. He welcomed us to his house like we were family. He is an all around 5 star host!!! The house compliments the host it was everything we could ask for. We really enjoyed our stay here and plan on coming back. 🥰🤗
