With the Animas River—El Río de las Animas (River of Souls)—running through and just steps away from San Juan National Forest, this is the ideal getaway for outdoor aficionados with gold medal fly fishing waters, whitewater rafting, kayaking and canoeing. Durango is also popular for outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, road biking, backpacking, slacklining, rock climbing, hunting, off-roading, year-round fishing, and golfing. The Durango Resort offers apartment-style accommodation with fully equipped kitchens, a fitness center and two outdoor hot tubs with breathtaking mountain views.



The resort assigns the specific unit around the time of check-in so your view may vary. Let us know if you have a preference to be near a specific location throughout the resort or if you would like a specific view. Construction Notice:



1. The resort will be experiencing nearby construction directly across the street through September 2025. For the entire construction period, there will be a one-lane closure to the main road leading to the resort and a full closure periodically. Additionally, construction noise will be ongoing from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. You may encounter noise, dust, odors, and work crews during this time. 2. The resort will be undergoing renovations beginning Oct. 26, 2024 - Dec. 12, 2024. During this time, the resort amenities may not be available for use. Additionally, you may encounter noise, dust, odors, work crews, and limited parking. Dates are subject to change.
