We had a very good stay. There was an issue with the entry code, but the property manager was very responsive and we were able to resolve that issue quickly.Pots and pans could use a refresh as the non-stick surface is peeling off of many of them, but the house was clean and there was plenty of space for our group.

We picked a terrible week to visit to play in the snow, but the vrbo was roomy and clean (save a mouse or 2) and the property management was very responsive.

Well Equipped and Comfortable Stay!!

My friends and I had a girls weekend here and it was perfection. Lots of spaces to congregate, a very well stocked kitchen (lots of plates, glassware, utensils, pots/pans, sharp knives(!!) griddle!), and really cool design!

Great house with plenty of room for everyone! Had one little problem and they were easy to get a hold of and handle the problem quickly! Definitely would stay here again.

Perfect home nestled among the trees

The home is close to grocery stores but far enough out of town to feel secluded. The home was clean and had absolutely everything we needed. Loved all of the flowers and the lighting at night was nice. Thank you for a wonderful stay and great memories of this trip!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We took our extended family of 6 adults and 6 children for a weeklong trip in June. Rental easily accommodated everyone. Super convenient to town and to the ski resort as well as multiple hikes. Kitchen was well stocked. Hot tub was clean and provided entertainment for the kids. Would stay here again.

5 guys and thier motorcycles

Worked great for our group with 5 bedrooms and room for our bikes in the garage was a plus. Remodeled,clean and perfect for our needs. The "MILD HOGS" will be back.

We had plenty of room to stretch out and have privacy while also enjoying meals together and hot tub time. Location was extremely convenient as we were close to town for restaurants and also close to the ski area. Very clean and super responsive hosts. Well stocked with supplies for cooking and grilling. Cant wait to come back.

Reviewer Comments: I have no complaints on this house, except that it wasn't clear what the expectations were on me (there was no document that I could find online or at the house. Maybe I missed it. We are quite tidy anyway, so I hope there were no issues with how we left the place (we did vacumme, do a trash run, and take the sheets and towels down). Exlcellent place I would use them again for sure!

The house is perfectly located between Durango and Purgatory Ski resort. Be sure to stop at Honeyville on your way back from the mountain! We enjoyed having our coffee in the sun room taking in the gorgeous mountain views. The kitchen was spacious and clean which made cooking together quite enjoyable. The best part was soaking in the hot tub under the starry sky with a glass of wine! The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, and I truly wish we could live here. We can’t wait to come back when it’s warmer to see what the summer has to offer! Until then, it’s the best winter getaway!

Luxurious ski vacation

My family of four stayed here with another family of four for a long ski weekend and absolutely fell in love with the house. It has been newly remodeled by someone who really understands comfort and has excellent taste. A really attractive, elegant vibe. The house has a lower section that is essentially a second house with another kitchen and refrigerator making it perfect for shared vacations with friends. All the beds and furniture are good quality, very comfortable, and very tasteful. When we first walked in we just stopped and grinned taking in the charm of the place. Wow, I thought, this is going to be a relaxing time! We ate meals together around the ample dining room table with the children eating at their own table in the connected porch. Plenty of room for eight! After dinners we usually relaxed in the hot tub on the back patio. There is even a perfect mud room type entryway for removing wet boots, ski gear, etc.. so the house stays clean.I have to say this rental was one of the best I’ve ever had (and we’ve stayed in many). Usually there is something that I can say needs improvement, but this time I can’t really think of anything. We all loved our stay and agreed we’ll definitely rent again next year.

The house is super comfortable with multiple living spaces, and had plenty of room even for our two groups.One thing that we really appreciated was the abundance of bathrooms (4.5) with a large group of us. The beds were so comfortable - I usually have trouble sleeping at hotels but I slept like a baby here. We couldn't have asked for a better location. Purgatory was super easy to get to, and we had a blast hitting the slopes and taking in the scenery. We also checked out Oxbow Park and Preserve, which was only about 4 miles away. The trails around the Animus river were great, but the swimming areas there would also probably be fun in the summer.One of the other highlights of our stay was dining at The Yellow Carrot, which was just a few minutes away. The atmosphere was relaxed and the gourmet food was incredible.But honestly we could have happily spent most of our time at the house itself. The hot tub was perfect! We loved the sunroom that lead out to the deck with incredible views. And the record player and period-correct record collection were an unexpected treat. We also appreciated the home office, which seemed well-equipped with everything needed to stay connected if you need to. The huge HD TV in the den was perfect for movies with the group. Finally, it was surprisingly wonderful to have two kitchens with two families.All in all, we had an absolutely wonderful time staying here and are already planning to come back later in the summer.
