I paid for the night at the Super8 Duncan, but we did not stay at the hotel. It would be a huge hassle to get my money back. Or is it? The hotel was disgusting. Filth on the floors and stairs, dried stuff on the floors. The room had a stagnant air. I was not feeling good about staying there. Had I seen the state of the hotel before check in, I would never have stepped foot inside. I returned in the morning to check out of the room (even though I did not stay there) to return the key fob.

The hallways look like a prison parking was sketchy at best. The rooms were incredibly small. The rooms were clean thou .

The sheets did not feel very clean, and had some stains on them. The mattresses were inconsistent on their stiffness: one mattress was very hard like a box spring, the other was marginally softer. The grout in the tiles looked old and weathered. The sink in the bathroom took minutes to drain as if the plumbing was clogged. The shower taps were very finicky to get the proper temperature. The shower curtains were torn, ragged, and stiff to move along the rod, and were badly soiled. All in the experience was not pleasant. The staff were nice though, as the young lady gave a slight Faulty Tower experience for me (though she probably wouldn't know what I meant by that), it fit my type of humor.

Overall it was a good stay for me. The facility is older and could use a remodel but the room was clean. Now this was no control of Super 8 but there was a number of customers that in their rooms that made it difficult to sleep. Other than that it was a good stay.

Not worth the value

For the price , should have stayed at the other hotel for 15.00 more a night. It’s not even free breakfast , no hot food , bed are old spring beds , staff was excellent and awesome but won’t be staying again here. Needs major work

Unfriendly front desk staff, not accommodating, seemed bothered to have people to check in. Told me it’s “the law” to have a credit card for a room, but somehow I was able to stay at another Wyndham hotel the night before in the same province, which I would assume have the same laws with no credit card. And no public bathrooms in lobby, and front desk wouldn’t give me a room key to relieve myself until I was fully checked in which took almost 15 minutes to check in. The rooms were a standard room nothing special about them. But it was good for a sleep. Forgot rings in a room and Mark was able to retrieve them for me once I called, so very appreciative on him! Continental breakfast was very basic, yogurt and cereal. I like to book hotels with continental breakfast included to justify a price of a nightly stay, this was not justified for the breakfast offered. Wouldn’t stay again, not terrible just not worth it to me.

The place was disgusting. Wreaked of urine, very unsanitary. Staff was not helpful when I expressed my concerns. I did not feel safe, being a woman traveling alone. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

The hotel wasn't bad, but their breakfast doesn't have a lot of food. Just cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, chocolate powder,coffee. It's not really a real breakfast. We only stay one night.

The friendly staff

The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was very clean, we will stay there again..the only thing the only one ice maker they have was broken and apparently its been down for a couple of months, seems like a small fix..
