The second you walk to the door of the mansion, your breath is taken away. It's so beautiful. The check in process was so easy and it was nice not having to do anything because I arrived a little late in the evening. The second I walked in the room I was wowed by it. It was very large, lots of space, very clean (and there's a lot of things to keep clean in that room), and so many beautiful things to see. The bathroom is very large and the shower is amazing! I liked the shampoo and conditioner that was supplied. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in and all the bedding was clean, not like in hotels where they only change the sheets and not the conforter (true story, I worked in housekeeping at a hotel). The only issues I had: I struggled to find a pulg in that wasn't connected to the lights so I could charge my phone while I slept. I was able to figure out the lamps in the window ledges on either side of the bed were connected to an extension cord that wasn't controlled by the light switches. The other thing isn't really an issue but this room is right next to time main front door and you can hear when other guests come in or out. At night, the house was very quiet and I'm pretty sure everyone could hear me talking on the phone. Overall, excellent experience and I've already booked a stay in this room again (I am a travel nurse and have a contract at the hospital, I live 3 hours away so I just find somewhere to stay on the days I work and then go home in between). Oh also, the prices to stay in the beautiful mansions are a great deal cheaper than the hotels which makes it feel like even more amazing because this mansion is historical and special.
