The resort and restaurant were great. My kids loved the pool and I loved having the restaurant and bar amenities. The food was amazing! Coffee shop downstairs was better than a Starbucks imo. There’s a shuttle service to the beach (though we didn’t use) but seemed convenient. I would stay again for sure

Family friendly, good location

Overall nice place to stay, most you could need on site for your family. Condo could have been a bit updated… a few things were broken but noticed property contact and he sent someone to fix it. Would stay at Palms of Destin again.

Clean and convenient

We had a great stay! The pool was very close, which we really appreciated. The only downside was that the beach wasn’t within walking distance. Aside from that, everything else was great. The check-in process was smooth, and the kitchen was well-equipped with all the utensils, cups, and plates we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable, and the entire condo was clean and cozy. We really enjoyed our time here

We could not have asked for a better stay . From the check in process to the accommodations , the stay was amazing ! The room was perfect in every way and we loved the view of the pool and ocean ! We will definitely be back ! It had most everything you needed and the workout room was a great way for mama to get up and have a hour of peace in the mornings before she hit the beach with the family . Thank You !

Staff was nice. Room was clean but the beds weren't very comfortable as well as the living room furniture. Public beach was small and awful. Stick to Hendersons It was nice other than that.

Nice place and near everything!

We really enjoyed our time there! Location was great and near everything or a short distance away. The only thing i wish was different was that the big pool was heated because it was freezing and not that warm outside. Everyone was piled into the not huge hot tub. The beach was also very small the public section anyways. I recommend going to henderson state park beach (only 6/car) for the entire day and could park close. It was so nice and you could spread out. The beach was so nice. I would stay here again. We had a fun time and perfect size for our family of 5reccomeny reccoutside. outside

STAY AWAY!

STAY AWAY from this property! When my family arrived, we found blood stains and hair on the bed and floor. We were disgusted by what we found and couldn't even stay there anymore. We left the property and had to find another place to stay. The owner denied any wrongdoing despite us sending pictures and proof of what we found. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!

Difficult check in had to find security No packet left could not use internet until next day. The room size perfect. Kitchen well equipped. Sheets in 2nd bedroom sheets were dirty, dirt and hair. Master bed mattress had large stain. One of the bed pillows had lipstick all over it. Called owner, he let the cleaning service know but they never contacted me. I washed all the sheets and pillow. Sprayed mattress with bleach cleaner. Thank goodness for the washer and dryer. We were tired after a 14 hr drive very unhappy with condition of condo. Plus master bedroom curtains did not fully close. After we cleaned it all, the stay was nice. Close to food and beach.

Beautiful property and convenience to the beach

My husband and I stayed here the last week of February. Everyone was really friendly from the residents to the maintenance to the front desk and security. The heated pool and hot tub were wonderful but during the last week of February the main pool was cold. The host of the property thought of everything! Plates, pots and pans, pizza cutter, even a bread pan and coffee (three different types of coffee makers from single cup to pots) there was nothing needed. Nice to have two bathrooms! Looking at other places very few in this affordable price range have two bathrooms. Lots of walking tho. You have to park in parking garage walk then walk through the main entrance and back outside to get to the tower elevators. The restaurant was not open all week during this down time. Only the weekend which was a bummer as we had to leave every morning for breakfast. Also it’s very noisy as far as the constant sound of the fountains and kids splash pad as well as the airport nearby. And they play music in the pool area beginning at 8am until 8pm so sitting outside you hear it. All in all we were very happy with our stay and will definitely be going back.

Things that suck about this place: 1. They have almost 400 rooms and 2 luggage carts, hope you like carrying your stuff about 1/4 mile to your room. 2. Their internet service is the worst, don't plan on streaming. 3. The property isn't even 10 years old and it's beat to death. 4. The bartenders, bad attitude and don't know how to make basic drinks (unless it's one of their 10 drinks on the menu) 5. The restaurant is a crap shoot, we ordered there twice, the second time we just didn't eat the food, it was nasty. Things that are great about this property. 1. The pool, it's big, clean and the staff keep the BS to a minimum. 2. The view from upper floor rooms. 3. Parking is plentiful 4. Close to the beach, very walkable.

Great family vacation spot

The condo was very clean, modern and comfortable. The kids loved the pool, often swimming during the day and evening. Also, the pickle ball room was a surprise hit with our group. Property staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking down by the beach area was way easier than I expected. The beach could get a little crowded in the middle of he day but hey, it's a great Florida beach with comfortable, clear water... crowds should be expected. Some really good shopping in the area, loved our dining experience at The Back Porch and had some fun with putt-putt and go karts at The Track.

Great experience location was well placed.

Only complaints I have are the “public beach” not Henderson state park is absolutely small and over crowded. Thankfully found beach service rental behind back porch. Quite pricey for a umbrella and 2 chairs for 350.00 for the week but well worth it. Taking a shuttle to Henderson state park would be ok but we chose against it because of time constraints with children. Our couch wasn’t there when we got there had to wait until Tuesday which the property manager informed me of. He is giving us 150.00 back on our card for the inconvenience which we haven’t received yet. The bar is nice by pool but the pool is open until 11pm which is great but the bar closes at 10pm with all the parents up still I believe the bar should be open until 11pm as well.

The property is located in a great location.

The condo is in a great location. The overall experience was good. We did encounter a few issues that the property Manager handled with urgency. The condo unit itself could use a really good deep cleaning. I would recommend this property.

It was Ok

It was a nice apartment. A majority of the remotes had batteries missing and backs missing, and some didn’t even go to the TVs that are in the residence. The WiFi password isn’t posted anywhere in the apartment like all the other units we’ve stayed in here, so keep a lookout for the email sent by property management when you book. Overall it’s a nice unit. AC is controlled outside the apartment. But if you have a brain you can figure out how to stop that ;)

Condo unit was as advertised. Everything was clean and in good condition. Previous occupants left some beach chairs and toys in the closet, which was nice, and we ended up leaving a few that we bought also. Good exercise room with lots of equipment. On site bar and dining, but we didn't use it. Pool is nice with quite a bit of variety of areas, but they could use a few updates, like the splash pad and the pool furniture. Overall we had a great stay.

The only complaint I have is the Air conditioner was managed off site and they keep turning it up to 83 degrees.... It got very hot in the room. It would let us trun it down, but a few hours later it would be right back to 83 degrees.

Amazing Stay!

This condo was everything we could’ve asked for for our mother daughter trip. Very comfortable space for the two of us. Was very clean & spacious. Check in was easy and the front desk staff + owner were kind and helpful. The view from the condo was a wonderful thing to wake up to each morning. Beds were soo comfortable! As an added perk, we found beach chairs and an umbrella in the closet which were beyond nice to have as the beaches in Destin are unbelievably beautiful. Beach is about a ten minute walk from the condo. Would highly recommend staying here!! The only thing that didn’t work in the condo was the hair drier- also, the large pool at the condo is ice cold so we weren’t able to get in. But the other pool and hot tub were very nice! Can’t wait til next time!

The condo was a nice home base for our stay in Destin. The interior was clean and had the basic necessities. The master bed and guest bed were comfortable. The only word of caution is the sofa sleeper would not be ideal for adults as the mattress is quite thin. Our kiddos slept there comfortably enough. The view from the balcony was beautiful. When the doors were shut the condo was peacefully quiet which was a nice contrast to the city noise.
