if your in delhi to shop then this is the hotel to stay at. its in the middle of karol barog shopping district. The room is a decent size the bathroom is clean. the breakfast is horrible, eggs and tea the cups are dirty i actaully washed them myself before i used them. Over all the staff is very friendly.
After staying at a few hotels (around this price range), I started to think that things like some soapscum in the bathroom, water damage spots in the ceiling, and floors that weren't swept/vacuumed between guests was just par for the course in Delhi. This hotel, though, was different. It was surprisingly clean and comfortable. The windows in the bathroom showed a bit of wear and tear, but aside from that, it was obvious that the staff make everything as spotless as possible before your arrival. Its a very nice feeling to come back from a long day on the Delhi streets, and wash 16 hours worth of street grime and dust in a pristine shower and lay in a comfortable bed with fresh sheets. Hotel staff was very nice as well, though the room service is a bit dodgy. Note: Milk shake does NOT mean what you think it means. I more or less got chocolate milk. Your best best bet is to get food from a nearby restaurant and bring it back if you want to eat in. Ban-Zai across the street was delicious. Also, hotel is a 5 minute walk away from the metro, which is nice because walking around Karol Bagh is a bit of a pain with potholes, piles of dirt, ravines cutting through the asphalt, and driving is even more of a headache. Overall, best place I've stayed in Delhi for the price. Great staff, and clean rooms. Can't go wrong.

Correct service
We stayed at Hotel Grand Central in Delhi for 2 nights. The hotel service was very good. They also offered travel services, which was extremely helpful. The location of the hotel is not bad, though it is not really central.
Our room was very clean with wonderfully firm and comfortable beds. The location is great if you want to shop (I bought a lovely wedding sari at a store just across from the hotel). However, the hotel is difficult to find (our Indian hosts had an extremely hard time locating the hotel, as it is located amid many small, winding walking streets and alleys). The location requires at least one full hour driving time to the Delhi international or domestic airport - as traffic is very dense in and around the small streets. The staff is very kind and helpful. However, if you wish to book taxi service, be sure you are in the reception area about 30 minutes before you need your cab - as advance reservations are not honored. We requested morning cab service the evening prior to our plane departure. However, when we came downstairs to meet our cab the next morning, as scheduled, we discovered that the taxi had never been called (and nearly missed our flight as a result). Though the reception staff are very polite and helpful, there were many hotel guests demanding their attention at once (about 30 new tourists landed in the reception when we came down that morning, all seeming to need something immediately, so the kind staff was a bit overwhelmed). That said, better to plan ahead and ask for things about 30 minutes before you'll need them - especially when it comes to transportation. Note that because of the difficult location, it will take extra time for cabs to arrive for pick-up. If you are sound-sensitive, bring earplugs as the street noise is quite loud even with the windows shut.
