Nice Cabin in the Black Hills

A great location, close to major attractions. The cabin was perfect being in the trees and and somewhat remote. Very relaxing stay and enjoyed the home. I would recommend to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy nature.

Side x side trip

We had a great week here. 6 adults with plenty of room. Very much enjoyed the stay. Close to trails and area attractions- so perfect location.

Relaxing Stay

A wonderful stay for a long weekend on the trails and attending the buffalo round up. Enjoyed the location, well stocked house. Everything we needed. Loved sitting on the swing watching the wildlife!

Nice cabin and good location

The house was nice. The only thing is that the stairs to go downstairs are not for people who have hard times with steps. Other than that the location was nice and easy access to trails.

Quiet and great location

We enjoyed our stay in the house. Everything we needed was there. It was a great location to the utv trails and other attractions. And we couldn't believe how quiet it was there. So nice. The neighbor was super nice too. He even offered to take us out on the trails. Thank you again...this house away from home just added to our great vacation.

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay for our Badlands vacation. The cabin was easy to find. The only negative I have about the cabin was that the kitchen was downstairs. I knew this when I reserved the cabin but didn't think about the inconvenience when I reserved this location. I had some questions before our trip and the host answered me very quickly.

It had all the feels of the forest, plenty of privacy, and everything we needed for a simple getaway. The location was perfect for ATV riding - close to the Sugar Shack for food and fuel, and close to access to a ton of trails. We would definitely stay again!

Very nice location, peaceful, beautiful scenery. There are several close neighbors, however it was very quiet and felt secluded. The cabin was clean and very well supplied with every thing we needed. The spiral staircase could be problematic for anyone who has problems with stairs.

Central BH Cabin

The property is centrally located in a nice location. Serene setting, not too close too highway. Kitchen is well equipped. Spiral staircase is an impediment for mobility challenged individuals. The beds on the upper floor were not very good, one very squeaky and too soft if you’re used to not disturbing your partner every time you move. Overall a pretty nice place—a little overpriced perhaps.

Nice Quiet area

This house is located on a hillside in a nice quiet area overlooking a large open meadow. As others have noted, wildlife is plentiful. We saw deer and many turkeys every morning. The house has an unusual design with the living room 2 bedrooms and bathroom in the upper level and kitchen dining area, one bedroom and combination bathroom laundry & storeroom in the lower level. The 2 levels are connected with a circular star case. Although there are many dishes and cookware, we felt the quality of the cookware was a bit substandard as we eat most of our meals at the house. Overall, we had a good experience!

Nice home Agency -- Terrible

The home was very good, had everything needed. The rental agency was terrible, lied about the amount of room for your vehicles, even neighbor is upset. They supplied less then half of what was needed for toilet paper and garbage bags --seems to me they would have more then enough garbage bags because that will effect how clean it is left!!

Dirty

Dirty bathroom. Used wash cloth on floor. Layer of grime on counter backspash, towel rack and clothes basket. Kitchen was just as dirty. Food crumbs, coffee grounds, spill running down refrigerator, grease all over oven controls. I cant believe people think this place is clean. I wish i could submit pictures

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was the perfect location for riding the trails. We accessed trails from the rental and didn't have to trailer our 4 wheeler or dirt bikes. It was also a central location for visiting Deadwood, lakes, and tourist sites. Bring extra toilet paper and paper towels. They only had 2 rolls in each bathroom and for 7 days with 8 people that was not enough. It would be nice to have a recycle bin. Also the bedrooms got warm as there was no central air just a wall mounted unit in the living room. You must be able to use a spiral staircase to access both floors. The outside sitting areas were nice and tranquil.

Great location in the northern part of the central Black Hills. There was a lot of construction that hindered our travel but that didn't take away from the beautiful property.
