The room had the ocean view that I wanted. The desk staff were very helpful, courteous and accommodating. The room was very clean in all regards and the breakfast amenity was adequate. The room contained all of the necessities for a kitchenette designation. The elevator worked very well and was speedy for the 6 floors. The other guests were enjoyable and appropriately quiet. The access to the pool and the beach were great. I would have selected exceptional except for the bed that was not as comfortable as I would have hoped and the heat/air conditioning unit that was a noisy but it did function properly. That heat/a-c was a reminder that this hotel was not built in the past 10 years or so based on that unit.

Nice Location/Terrible nights sleep

The location of the property was really great and we went when there wasn't many people. Rooms were quiet and faced the ocean. We stayed on the 5th floor which was the top and the property had an elevator. Having a small kitchen was great. It had a stove top but no oven and the refrigerator was full size. There was a small dog area on the 1st floor that was convenient for letting the dogs do their business and they provided bags. The continental breakfast was ok. Had your typical waffles, toast, yogurt but didn't have cereal and no milk. Who can eat a waffle without milk? Only had grits when there were 50 people. Don't understand that one. We don't drink coffee but there was a coffee machine that had many coffee choices. The pool was nice and they provided beach amenities including pool noodles, boogie boards, and sand buckets, etc. The worst part of our stay was that the beds were foam and so uncomfortable!! We woke up feeling like we had been beaten with a baseball bat!! The staff was very nice and accommodating. It's unfortunate but I don't think we will be staying here again unless they change out the mattresses!

Nice little motel

Great smaller motel. Good location. Super nice people working the front desk. Almost all rooms oceanfront. Two minor issues. Parking can be difficult. At capacity I belive they might be short a parking spot or two. Breakfast is a bit weak, Ive had worse, but they could add a few more options.

Beds were surprisingly comfortable, rooms are good size and clean, all of the staff we met were friendly and courteous. The only thing we didnt like (personal preference) were the type of chairs on the balcony.

The building is old, and it seemed to have relatively poor maintenance. They dont offer maid service during your stay, if you have "too much" trash youre charged an extra fee, you can put one bag out in the morning or you have to take it to the dumpster yourself. All the stairwells smell like wet dog and is piled with air conditioning units and used as storage, and every evening for the entirety of our stay the smell of marijuana was overwhelming when sitting on the balcony. Front desk staff didnt really speak when you were in the lobby, and no overnight front desk staff was available. The bathtub drained incredibly slow, and the water took awhile to get hot and that was if you didnt turn on the cold at all. The room wasnt very clean imo, but there's guest cleaning supply stations on each floor if you'd like to clean your own. Theres a list of things you're charged extra for that wasnt listed on the original booking.The location and ocean view was great but I wouldnt stay here again.

Our new weekend beach resort

Found our weekend beach hotel! Fantastic! Love the vibe, so cute and cozy! All the beach decor is perfect. Breakfast was phenomenal and their coffee machine is amazing. They treated our fur baby as if she lived there. Great job on the remodel.

We had a great time. The hotel is right next to beach with a quick beach access. Very cozy and family friendly as well.

At the time of check-in I had to wait about 15 minutes when I saw that there was no one I went through the hotel until I found the lady from the front desk after she gave me the keys to the room and when I entered the room the room had a smell of dead fish quickly I went down to the front desk and asked for the something for the smell to see if it will go away and it didn’t with only multi purpose cleaner. quickly I went to Walgreens to buy spray for the room but it still smelled bad during the entire stay but the view is beautiful.

We love that this property is small and not over crowded. Everyone is so friendly, staff and guests alike. The pool deck with easy beach access is great. Tile floors, kitchenette, private balconies, and close proximity to great local restaurants.
