Disappointed with the property for the price. Overall I would give this a 2 star rating. The room was aged, I could feel a spring or two in the bed, bathtub had nostopper so no bath, and the room safe wasn't tied down, eo a robber could just pick up the safe and walk away with it! Of course, the property takes no responsibility for any loss. The room had a hot water marker for tea or coffee. The only problem was they only provided for the first day and didn't want to restock the cheap coffee packrts or tea. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not bad.

Some good and some bad. Good location and staff.

We got offered a room on the 11th floor, which is the highest floor. When we arrived, we tried to rest a little bit, but then, we found out that the 11th floor is very noisy, since customers have to go through that floor to access the rooftop pool. At first, we thought it was okay, but after resting in the bed for a little, we noticed there were a lot of hair on the bed and many little ants crawling up to the bed (the type of ant that stings). We killed about 10 of them, but more of them kept on crawling up to us, so we called reception. At first, they suggested to simply change our beddings, but we thought the source of ants wasn't the bedding, and considering the fact that it was a noisy floor, we asked them to give us another room. They gave us a room on the 10th floor, but they told us we'd have to switch room once more the day after. We accepted, since it was better than getting stung by ants. That room had a nice city view, and was ant-free. The day after, they gave us a room on the 9th floor, which also offered a nice city view. Though, we saw a huge cockroach that ran away before we could smash it. The breakfast wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. The choices are a bit limited, and aren't the tastiest. Also, on the first morning, there was a spider guarding the access to one of the dishes... During our stay, there was a lot of locals staying there, some of them were very noisy. One time, a group of them kept knocking on our door while were sleeping at night...

My stay was fantastic just a short walk to the beach, staff were friendly the room was great we even had a swim in the roof top pool. I would definitely stay there again.

A bargain!

I was pleasantly surprised with the Grand Sunrise 2. The hotel feels new and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Great location near lots of restaurants and just 2 blocks to a gorgeous beach. The rooftop pool and bar area is beautiful. The room, though small, was clean and comfortable. It's a bargain for the price!

Grand sunrise cheap stay

Good hotel for price we paid room was comfy breakfast either Vietnamese or English omelette area itselff a bit run down lots of building work going on intact da hang itself I would not recommend however hotel was very good value and had a small roof top swimming pool

Cheap and quiet hotel

Considering the price, the hotel was okay. The rooftop swimming pool had a nice view, but was smaller than I thought. The bedding had little stains. Also cold water stopped coming out and only extremely hot water was available after midnight. So the toliet stopped working and we couldn't take a shower. If you are looking for a convenient hotel, I do not recommend this hotel.

Very good value hotel

Staff were very helpful and most spoke English. The hotel is a few blocks from the beach and has many restaurants and bars within walking disrance. Short taxi ride to major attractions.

Booked accommodation for my nephew and he loved it. The rooms are a bit small but overall he was happy with the location (close to the beach) and very modern. Great pool too! The breakfast was also enjoyed.

Wouldn't stay there again

The hotel staff barely speak English, and despite what their expedia listing says there's no free airport shuttle. They also play music in the halls from about 6am-midnight and you can hear it in your room, making it hard to eat. No great restaurants nearby.

Jeg blir oppgradert uten forespørsel til tiende etasje og mottar også velkomstdrink i resepsjonen. Rommet har fantastisk utsikt over byen og jeg ble liggende i en lekker daybed å beundre utsikten lenge. Rommet hadde alle tillegg du kan forvente av et 4 stjerner hotell inkl gratis mineralvann og flere sorter kaffe. Glassveggen som skiller rommet inn til det gedigne og rålekre badet har eget forheng om du reiser med din kjære. Her får du også luksusprodukter i form av kostbare seper og hårprodukter inkludert i prisen. Deilige og myke håndklær som lukter vidunderlig og sengetøy i høy kvalitet samt èn myk pute og en litt fastere pute! Dette bør alle andre hoteller ta lærdom av og kan ikke huske sist jeg hadde dette, men det var i Dubai for +10 år siden... Frokosten er en kapittel for seg selv og hvor du igjen møter bok en del av det blide og serviceinnstilte personalet som lager retter til deg der og da!! Anbefaler omeletten med tilhørende vietnamesiske krydder som damene komponerer i smak for deg! Masse å velge mellom på 2 lange rader og kaffen er noe av det beste jeg har smakt! Alt på hotellet er skinnende rent og pent og renholdspersonalet ordner rommet til stor fornøyelse for meg og selvfølgelig blide også disse med sine fine smil! Jeg anbefaler alle et besøk, ja dette vil du oppleve selv!
