This was the second time we stayed at this property as we worked around a major travel event. The room for the second stay was not as good as the first stay as the bathroom needed so minor but significant repairs.

I visited Cusco in their Autumn. In the days the weather would go up to 60-65 Fahrenheit and sunny. At night it would drop to 35 F.. Yet from the moment I arrived to Torre Dorada this hotel was FREEZING. Thankfully they sent over an electric heater which once it warmed up did heat up my room. If I left my room no matter what time of day the whole place was an icebox. I would go to breakfast and all my hot food would get cold in a matter of minutes. Is heat not a common amenity in hotels in Cusco? Was it just this hotel that lacked a heating system? Outside of the heating issue the staff was wonderful and breakfast was incredible but I just could not deal when I had to spend time in this place. I do not think I will return or if I do it will definitely but during the Summer months.

Excelente experiencia. La limpieza y condición del cuarto impecable, como si fuera la primera vez que se usara. El servicio y atención del personal sobresaliente, totalmente enfocado en el huésped y su comodidad. Me ofrecieron servicio de lavandería, me hicieron el desayuno para llevar a mis tours, coordinaron mis transportes, compartieron recomendaciones turísticas. Logre compartir con el personal y aprender sobre su cultura. Me demostraron interés genuino, me sentí en casa.
