Peace and Quiet

The Harmony Barn was remote, quiet, and private. Mark was proactive, and he communicated quickly when we had inquiries. He gave us great information on local hikes. We would stay again.

Quaint

Secluded studio. I’m glad I had a high clearance vehicle because the dirt roads to access the rental had a couple potholes. The place was quiet and in Mother Nature. The long windows allowed a nice view of the evening thunderstorms. Complete information binder had useful information.

Harmony Barn is still lovely on my 2nd visit

Harmony Barn is truly great for a peaceful get-away and the mountain views are breathtaking. The caretakers really do take good care! This was my second visit and I will not hesitate to book again.

Perfect Spot

What a beautiful property! The loft has endless good views from all the lovely windows & two decks! The decor was cheerful & colorful, nice touches. Quiet & tucked away yet a close drive to fun! Dog friendly! The host was great! Highly recommend this stay !

Great Place!!!!

We had a great time. Very clean, simple but had everything we needed. The balcony was our favorite spot. The views were amazing. Far enough out to feel like a retreat, but close to so many great places! The hosts were great and very quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely stay again.

Spectacular views in all directions

The location and property itself were both splendid ! The accommodations are cozy, clean and accessible to so many of the area attractions in Mancos, Durango, Cortez and Dolores. We thoroughly enjoyed the area and stay !

Perfect getaway

My husband, dog and I stopped in Mancos for a few nights on a road trip. The location was great for visiting Mesa Verde NP and Durango. The property itself is beautiful and we loved waking up, drinking coffee on the baconly and looking at the mountains! The hosts were very nice and responsive. Would definitely return.

Very nice inside & clean

Very clean & Nicely decorated. It’s in the mountains secluded & peaceful. We seen deer one evening. It gets very warm inside with no AC. As well as no window coverings makes it warmer & makes you wake up early. I would enquirer about construction in the bottom of barn before booking as it’s still under construction. Very nice people as well.

The Harmony Barn is just that!

They call this place the harmony barn! I felt at perfect harmony. It had little touches that made it so welcoming. The games, art supplies, doggy treats, and decks for your morning coffee or dinner. Our mother daughter trip was perfect! I love love love this place!

Absolutely Amazing!

Enjoyed every moment of our stay! Beautiful and relaxing home/property. Close to Mesa Verde National Park, Canyon of the Ancients, and many local hiking trails. Mark and Jody are wonderful hosts!!

We booked this rental for 2 nights so that we could visit the Cortez, CO area. Once we checked in, we immediately wished that we had planned to stay longer. The space is so welcoming and comfortable and the views are fabulous. The kitchen was equipped with everything we could need and the bed was wonderful. We utilized the two decks, one facing east and the other facing west, for coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening (steaks cooked on the gas grill). The location is convenient from the highway for visiting all the area attractions (Mesa Verde National Park, Canyons of the Ancients, restaurants and shops in Mancos and Cortez, etc.), but there was very little road noise to disturb the peaceful surroundings. Our host, Mark, stopped by to check on our needs and he was able to quickly help us with a pair of pliers to open a stubborn and difficult bottle. Our stay at Harmony Barn was one of the highlights of our 10 day road trip. If we get the opportunity to visit the area in the future, we will definitely stay again.

A lovely get away!

This property was a DREAM!! The location was perfect for adventures in Durango and in Utah's Canyonlands area. We had an absolute blast, and loved staying in this beautiful home. The owners were prompt to answer our questions and even greeted us one morning on their walk with their dog. We will absolutely return next year!!

1. Bed was hard 2. No tv, should be disclosed ( again not huge, but some would feel stronger. Now for Nancy’s take my wife. Above two issues with her also , she felt stronger about both. Her main issues after seeing toilet water issues she was hesitant to shower. Also she felt there was no comfortable seating to read or relax. I think some type of refund is in order. We left early because of these reasons. I hope you don’t misunderstand ,we’re not Rating until we hear from you. Thanks again Thomas Wright

The perfect getaway!

We loved our stay! It was the perfect size for the two of us and our four legged friend with a great layout and gorgeous views. We spent each night on the patio looking at the stars! We loved the location. Just 30 min to Durango and so much to explore nearby. Coming from the city, we felt so at peace here (with the closest house being a ways up the drive). It's an excellent place to come back to after a busy day of adventuring. This was one of the best rentals we've ever had.

What an oasis! We were ready to move in!

We loved our stay! What an amazing view in all directions. The studio was clean, comfortable and we loved the decorations. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were great. The art and decor were lovely and the personal note welcoming us was a nice touch! Our kids loved the paper and watercolors and created all kinds of art of the deck. Mancos is close and what a cute little artsy town! The hosts, that live up the hill were so kind as well. A must rent.
