Our charming guesthouse offers a truly rare experience: a private gate leading directly into the half-million-acre expanse of Canyons of the Ancients National Monument. Spend your days exploring ancient ruins and pristine wilderness, knowing your cozy retreat is just a short walk back.

This standalone 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom guesthouse features a fully-equipped kitchen, a comfortable living area, and a sleeping loft perfect for kids or an extra guest. The true highlight is the private porch, offering unobstructed, breathtaking views of the mountains—the perfect spot to watch the sunrise before your hike or stargaze at night.

Guest access
You will have the entire guesthouse to yourself, including your own private entrance and porch with stunning mountain views. Feel free to explore the 4-acre property and use the private gate at the back of the yard to access the adjacent BLM land for hiking. Please note that the main house and its screened-in porch are not included in this rental and may be occupied by other guests, who will share access to the driveway and BLM gate.

About Our Well Water: Our guesthouse is serviced by a deep well. The water is perfectly safe and extensively filtered. We also provide a Brita pitcher and bottled water.

Sleeping Loft: Please note that the sleeping loft is a semi-private space accessible by a ladder and does not have a door. It's a cozy spot perfect for kids or adventurous adults!
