Home Base for Family Get-Together

This was the perfect home base for us as we were meeting with extended family in the area. The house had everything we needed for 6 adults. The views of the surrounding mesas were beautiful, and we had several deer sightings. The hosts were very helpful and friendly - easy to contact if needed.

Fantastic location for exploring the Cortez area. The house was clean (Like Spic and Span clean) with comfortable furniture, and beds. The owner very graciously gave of his time to tour the property that has many ruins, and to give us a good archaeology lesson. It's in the top places we've stayed.

Amazing “Home” base

My sister and girls loved this home! It had everything we needed to be comfortable and recover from our jaunts to Mesa Verde, Canyon of the Ancients, and Durango/Silverton train ride followed by a raft trip! It was a wonderful experience!

Beautiful roomy home

We could not believe how nice this house was! Open plan, very comfortable and nicely decorated. There are amazing views from every room. Dave and Judy, our hosts, we’re very responsive to our questions about the area and good dining. We’re already planning our return and plan to stay here again.

Beautiful Home

Very homey -- the hosts left homemade cookies and honey for us. Clean and spacious. The home is nicely decorated and well-maintained. We enjoyed watching the sun rise and set on the nearby mountain. We saw a fox in the back yard one morning. He had a great time and we'll be back!

3 of us cousins plus spouse, from Oregon,ohio, &NC do national park trips every year. 3 bedroom house on outskirts of town was perfect. Took suggestions of past renters of where to go, canyon of the ancients nearby took us on top of a Mesa with 360 degree view, spectacular. Enjoyed the night sky. Opened windows at night for cool air, then closed up in morning. With ceiling fans stayed very comfortable. Hosts very accommodating, helpful, friendly.
