Short trip to CO springs
Great location, close to everything and walking distance to hiking trails. The upstairs is a 5/5 - / bedrooms, bathroom, living area and dining. The downstairs bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen had a very unpleasant odor - sewage-like that significantly decreased the rating of this property from a 5 to a 3.

Colorado 2025
We chose this property after looking at several. The house doesnt look quite like the pics as it has had wear and tear since the pics were taken including to the curtains in the kitchen ans the steps. Parking was challenging even though we were told there was parking the area which we were told to park had a no parkinf sign up and street parking was limited with the chance of vehicle getting hit on side. I was not happy about stains that were on the king sheets in the main bedroom and a stain on the carpet. There were also dead flies/bugs in the windows and mouse turds under the kitchen sink. Overall the closeness to the city and other areas were great with just a short ride. The trees blocked any view out of any window you chose to look out which i wasnt a fan of. Communication with the host was wonderful with quick responses to all questions even prior to booking. The amenties provided as far as seasonings, stove and fridge were great. I would say the pans ans definitely the knife set need replacing as they were broken and dull which i was not a fan of. Tv was a little smaller in the main room that i wouldve hoped. Also adding a dresser to the other rooms to place clothes wouldve been great as there was not really anywhere to put clothes unless hung. The stairs between the floors are slightly steep and small tight space to squeeze to the 3rd bedroom.

Great location
Pros: convenient location in the foothills but close to almost everything. Really feels like you're in a cabin in the mountains. The proximity to hiking and outdoor recreation areas was great. Cabin was cozy and well sized for a family of four. Although we couldn't use it that much due to the weather (stay in January), the outdoor space was awesome.Cons: cabin definitely has a musty odor. Air fresheners help but you just have to get used to it. Water pressure is very sporadic, enough so that toilets wouldn't flush sometimes. The basement bathroom sink didn't work for half our stay. The main and really only tv was basically inoperable. Property manager was responsive but ultimately the tv didn't get addressed like they said it would. 12" of snow and freezing temps kept us inside a lot of our stay so a tv for our young kids would have been nice.Other things to know: kitchen is small and downstairs with no sitting area. Cabin is very drafty and the basement is cold no matter what the heater is set on. Stairs to the cabin are for real and not much fun in the dark. There are lights but they were not working when we arrived. We're not super fancy so these didn't matter that much to us.

Spring break trip
Despite a wicked storm passing through during our stay, we enjoyed our visit. Luckily our teenage son had the energy to shovel out the path to the driveway each morning!

No water pressure, the house is on a hill
There is no water pressure at this house. My entire first day was spent arguing with management about the hot water not working and no water pressure.
Eventually they fixed the hot water, but I was told the water pressure was the way it was because the house is on a hill? There isnt even enough water pressure with the sink on both hot and cold full blast to get toothpaste spit down the sink, you need to use your hand. The shower scenario isnt great.

Girls weekend
The property is a good size, the beds and bedding are comfortable and the outdoor seating area is nice. The table and chairs are in a nice sitting room. Renters should know that the mostly rock stairs to the unit are no joke, fine to navigate without carrying anything but carrying luggage and groceries down is a bit precarious. The third bedroom is on the lower floor, through the kitchen and a narrow low hall in the back of the house, really separated from the rest of the house. The water pump goes on every time water is used and is right outside of the back bedroom. The kitchen is on the lower floor with no water or appliances (other than bathroom sink) on the first floor. There were dogs barking most of the time we were outside.

Nice Hideaway
We rented this property over Labor Day weekend. The property was clean. the stone stairs down to the house were a surprise to me but they were manageable with a metal handrail and lights that come on dusk to dawn. One of the bedrooms is downstairs and you have to go through a small door in the downstairs bathroom and down a small hallway to find it. It is not a problem but was a small challenge to find it. It's a quiet location close to hiking trails. Restaurants are within a short drive. It could use more pots and pans (we like cooking).
Overall, we were satisfied with this house and I would consider renting it again.

Enjoyed our stay
We came to the Colorado springs area for a short family vacation.
I would say the house is a bit more dated and not as clean as the pictures imply.
But we did enjoy our stay. Property manager was easy to work with.

Perfect location!
Great area, close to so many attractions. Must be able to do stairs. It's like staying in a remote cabin, but only a few minutes away from the action.
