The property is absolutely beautiful and the location is perfect for a quiet getaway close to fun activities! If you plan on cooking be sure to bring your own spices. I was disappointed to find only salt and pepper. This is a higher end rental and I expected the kitchen to be better stocked. The pans are poor quality and we found several broken items when trying to cook. That being said, you can’t beat the grill on the patio! Dinner on the patio was the best! We saw eagles, osprey and deer! Most of the rooms have a beautiful view of Fernan lake, and the space was huge for our party of 6.

Great stay

Overall this was a fantastic stay! Our whole family loved it! Turkeys and deer everywhere. Such a beautiful location with a view that did not disappoint. Fireplaces were a nice touch both upstairs and downstairs. Beds were comfortable and so much space for 6 of us. Driveway makes you hold your breath a little but not too bad. Would make me nervous in winter. No spices but there were some basic things at the house such as tinfoil and Saran Wrap. We left some salt and pepper. Coffee pot with basket filters which were available in plenty supply and small amount of washer pods and dishwasher pods were there. Basic utensils available and slow cooker and blender was there. Great location and very close to coeur dalene! Fireplace downstairs great for warming things up and downstairs! Would bring some extra blankets during cooler months for downstairs rooms and outside. no games were there but you can rent them at the library. So happy to be able to enjoy this beautiful home. All but one bedroom had beautiful views!!

Girlfriend vacation

What a wonderful week we spent at this house. It was perfect for our group of 7. We had plenty of room to spread out, including 2 complete kitchens, although we only used one of them. The beds were very comfortable and each had several pillows to choose from. Plenty of towels were provided. The views from the 2 very large decks were spectacular. We had Elk in the trees right below us one morning. Very quiet and private. I highly recommend this property!

6 of us stayed at this property, had room for 6 more easily. Nicely appointed, served us well for our 5 day stay. No major complaints or hiccups - just the way it should be!

Beautiful view, and great property management

The views this home offers from the deck are breathtaking and so peaceful. The home is spacious and well put together. The property management gets an A++++ rating, they respond quickly and are all around great. We had a situation where we found one of the beds had urine on the mattress and VRA came to the house the same day to treat the area. We look forward to booking with VRA again in the future.

Beautiful place with beautiful views!

Had a wonderful stay with 3 generations of our family. Place was exactly as advertised and worked well for all of us. The views were spectacular! Kitchens had all the appliances, dishes, and tools for cooking. Bedrooms had lots of blankets, and bathrooms had lots of towels. Only issue was that we couldn't get either of the 2 TVs to broadcast network TV.

Peaceful setting with great view

We chose this site for a work retreat to allow us time to work on some projects and it was the perfect setting to work while also enjoying a wonderful view. We found the location to be a perfect balance of a "remote" setting while only being 10+/- minutes from restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. Being able to step out onto the balcony and take in the lake views provided a great option for our team. We also found that the road leading to the home circles the hill, providing a great 5.4-mile round-the-hill walking/jogging experience.

Spectacular!

We loved it! We have a big family with a married daughter and we had plenty of room for all of us. We loved sitting on the back deck looking over the lake. We had deer and turkeys wander past, and eagles soaring overhead. The house was great, we had lots of down time between activities and everyone had fun together and also places to spread out.

Close to town but feels like you are far out in the woods with amazing views of the lakes on a gorgeous deck. Driveway is a little challenging for bigger vehicles and is very steep - if there was snow I would be scared. Otherwise everything was perfect

Lots of room for the family!

The home and the lake view are beautiful! I’d suggest turning one downstairs living space into a game room for family fun, especially since their is no usable yard. Beds were comfortable and house was well stocked with toiletries and kitchen utensils.

Great place!

Very easy to rent. I suggest maybe extra blankets in the bottom floor seemed as if it was a little cold down there. The stairs to go downstairs are pretty steep, be sure to keep handicapped folks upstairs.
