Perfect Locatikn

We could not have picked a better location. From strolling on the beach to playing in the ocean water everyone enjoyed their time. When exhausted we returned to the picturesque backyard and the quiet of the canal, a very relaxing spot. The owner was easy to reach and always pleasant. This house has had many upgrades and it appears that there is more to come. We would certainly look to coming back another time.

Fun getaway!!

Nice home, was great for our family, grandkids enjoyed the pool and fishing in the canal, we actually had some dolphins visit twice!! We had a late check in due to the renters before us, guess they left quite a mess, sure wish they would have been respectful of the rental since we had a 15 hr drive, but the cleaning people did a nice job and the house was very clean. We loved our time there and all the memories made!! Would for sure rent this home again!!

Beautiful but missing the amenities listed

The property was nice with beautiful views and a great location however there were no instructions for anything and the pool, bikes, and kayaks/boat were unusable. The pool pump was broken so the pool was very dirty and stagnant. Management responded after about 12 hours to our message, and though someone eventually came out (the night before we left from our 3-night stay) they were not able to fix it. The bikes had flat tires and there was no bike pump to inflate them. There was no way to get the kayaks/paddleboat in or out of the water (theres a 3-foot drop from seawall w no launchpad or ladder or anything). We had booked this largely to use these amenities but were not able to use any of them. The rooms were large and nice, however, we recommend bringing a sleep mask as the shades are very sheer and it's incredibly bright by 6 am. so we were up every day at 6pm. The thermostat was very high-tech, glitchy, and difficult to get to work, and management did not respond or provide instructions on how to use it. It was an ordeal to try to figure out how to change the temp despite owning different digital thermostats for years. Our last morning they sent instructions (the only ones we got) on how to leave things (cleaning: garbage, linens, etc) 2 hours before checkout by which time we had already left. We had a great vacation and enjoyed the large house and the great views, it was just obvious this was a relatively unprofessionally run "investment-only" property.

Spring Break trip-great location..but

Upon arrival on Monday, 3 large trash cans where pulled to the curb. All were over flowing. The next morning only the one can was emptied. We brought the cans back in. I asked the neighbor and she said it's on Friday. So my husband brought the cans back down Thursday evening and eventually they were picked up on Friday. Might need to post this, as it was HOT when we were there and the smell of the cans was not pleasant. Also, when we went to put our breakfast dishes in the dishwasher on Tuesday, we found dirty dishes were left. We took care of this as well. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes where the previous renters did not take care of it. Wiggly chair leg. One of the dinning room chair legs were so wiggly that we removed the chair and put it in the laundry room in fear that it would break. The AC unit had no directions to it, and had no idea how to adjust the unit. Google came in handy. Other than this it was a lovely time.

Family getaway

Perfect location, only a hour drive to Disneyland, and 5 minutes to the beach. We had a dolfin come by the deck, and while kayaking. The pool was a plus!

Very nice stay and great location.

We stayed here for 3 nights with friends. It was a great location for visiting the Space Center and beaches. The property was right on a canal and we enjoyed the patio and deck during our mornings and evenings. We also loved having a pool table and had many games. The shallow pool was clean and the rooms were very comfortable. Would recommend it visit again.

House has everything you need!!!

We loved our stay. We loved the location and the house. Had everything we needed for a nice relaxing time away from our winter wonderland in Massachusetts. Would stay here again!!!
