A beautiful building and lovely friendly staff in a great location … only one small complaint the mattress in our room was extremely uncomfortable I think it’s seen better days .

Reception staff were very helpful and took my bag up for me too. I had a single ensuite attic room. The room & bathroom were clean. But the bedroom was dark and unfortunately the bed really wasn't comfortable. There was a kettle and plenty of tea & coffee sachets etc Because it is in the eaves you can't stand in the bath to shower, but on the upside the water-pressure was good and there was plenty of hot water. To be honest the price was high for the room, but there aren't many places to stay in the town so I guess that's how it goes.
