Generally the upper section of the house was clean and tidy, however a few things need attention, the portable ac’s in the bedrooms had to be attended to at least twice a day as the drain pans filled up as no provision for drain out and they just overflowed onto the carpet! Recommend window mounted ac. The non-stick saucepans provided were badly scratched and unusable for health reasons as no non stick utensils were provided so obviously previous tenants had used metal utensils on them. We had to purchase 2 saucepans for our own use during our stay!The promised coffee machine was not present and only provided the next day after my complaint. The microwave turntable had obviously been lost or broken and replaced with a smaller turntable which was supported on the rollers resulting in a very wobbly operation in use. Barrel bolt on the bottom of the en-suite toilet door couldn’t be moved up so toilet door couldn’t be closed!Moving on to the downstairs area, front and rear yards very badly maintained, overgrown grass and vegetation, we had to buy a hard broom to sweep out the rear patio area and bbq cleaner to clean a very rusty bbq! I was told that there is a mini broom and dustpan next to the fridge which I was supposed to use to clean out the patio! Even the gate to the river could not be opened easily and I had to cut off the overgrown creepers to do this. To summarise, a really poor experience for what we thought would be a relaxing weekend! Should have given a poor score
