Perfect location, just steps from bus stop (146 to Museum Campus, 151 to Lincoln Park Zoo, 152 right to Wrigley Field), close to the lakefront and the place itself is spacious and welcoming. Very effortless in and out and the host was easy to contact and always quick to respond if we had any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and can't wait to come back again.

Great Lakeview location near lake/ballpark

Thank you, Andrea, for your beautiful place. We stayed a month, and it was an ideal accommodation for a trip we'd planned for years. The condo is clean, comfortable and spacious — an open kitchen/dining/living room. It had all the conveniences we needed, and given how long we stayed, we made good use of the kitchen, washer/dryer and other amenities. Loved the location—a 15-minute walk in one direction to Wrigley Field and a 20-minute walk the other direction to Montrose Beach. (Tip: For better swimming, go to the water at the end of Waveland. Montrose is a sandy beach but the water is too shallow. Waveland isn't a beach, and has no lifeguards, but the water is more conducive to swimming.) Our local coffeeshop (Dollop) was a short walk, and we often stopped in at Bar on Buena. Pre-ballgame tip: Pick up hot dogs at Byrons on your way. The Sheridan El stop is about a 10-minute walk, and we rode the buses occasionally. Between public transportation and cabs/rideshare we only rented a car a few days when we had a weekend trip out of town. The only aspect that was hard for us is that the unit isn't really set up for remote work, and we had some of that during this trip. One small work desk, the lighting could be better in some areas, and the internet wasn't great for video calls (our Verizon signal also isn't strong there). But the condo isn't billed as a work-away-from-home place, and I definitely would stay again for a non-work trip.

Great place & location

Group of friends stayed, there was plenty of room as the property was larger than expected. Lots of newer parts to it including master bathroom, and kitchen seems recently remodeled with new appliances. Neighborhood is very nice, safe and walkable. Owner instantly responded to any questions & requests. Overall great time & value, 5/5 would stay again.

Chicago a week of adventure

This property was every bit worth the trip. The web site and pictures were great. Great location and the architecture of the buildings in the neighborhood were pleasant to see and walk through the area. The location was very accessible to every major access we needed to go. Highly recommend this owner and her property. The only thing I couldn't find out was to get the local TV stations. But we only needed to watch maybe 2 hours a day.

Great home base for our family of 5!

This was the perfect spot for our visit to Chicago. Plenty of space for our 3 teen girls. Condo was a short walk to Wrigley Field. Close to bus stops and the train. It is a bit outside the city but we loved the location and walkability. Andrea was amazing to work with, very responsive and helpful. Condo was well stocked in towels, paper towels and toilet paper as well as soaps which is a huge perk when traveling from out of town. There is even a cart in the closet that you can use for your groceries. Other reviewers have commented that the lighting is dim - I would agree with that however it's not enough to deter a follow up stay - we would definitely stay again!

Great place for someone with mobility issues.

Excellent host, great neighborhood, great unit, and extremely spacious and comfortable. As great as all prior reviews say. In addition to that - if you are traveling with someone with mobility issues (for me 80 + year old in- laws), this was the only rental I could find with very few stairs getting into the unit and no stairs within the unit and was crucial for them.

Wedding weekend

Great location! We loved our weekend stay at this perfectly located home. 3 large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms. The only thing that we struggled with is the lighting. Not enough lights and not bright enough. Kitchen was fully equipped. We spent our evenings on the back terrace. Very short walk to the waterfront!

Could not ask for more!

My husband and I were in town for a couple days to attend a Cubs game and to visit my son and his fiance. For us, the location was perfect - walking distance to Wrigley Field and just 3 blocks from our son's apartment. The condo itself was met with a "wow" when we entered - clean, spacious, quiet, located in a beautiful neighborhood, and close to the lake. And having a place to park in front of the building was a real plus! The owner was very communicative and really helpful when we made a mistake (our mistake!) with the check-in process. We seriously could not ask for more. If we are lucky enough to have this property available for our next visit to Chicago, we will definitely stay here again.

Good place near Wrigley

Overall, the stay was just fine. Enough so that we would consider it again. The location for Lake MI beaches is great; even to walk to the beach. Location to Wrigley Field is good. It's walkable, but be aware if any in the party have any walking difficulty. A 15 minute walk for youngsters could easily be 30 minutes or more. That said, it's 2022...an Uber for 4 people is $20--easy peasy. Condo footprint was great. It was clean enough and pretty quiet in a good residential neighborhood. Suggestions: 1. Be more clear about amenities there, and those that are not. 2. Add some washcloths. There were plenty of towels, but no wash cloths. 3. The VRBO site lists Dish Network. There is still a remote there. But, after burning an hour trying to connect, I texted the owner, who informed me there is no Dish Network. Suggest changing the listing and removing the remote. Little stuff...just irritating little things, but truly even if nothing changed would absolutely stay here again. Owner was quick to respond to a couple little things, and the place is really cool.

Good but minor improvements would make it great!

This condo was clean and spacious. Perfect for 6 adults. Bus stop was literally a 2 min walk to the end of the street with easy access to downtown. Improvements needed: owner should invest in an inexpensive set of nonstick cookware. The pans for cooking are terrible. We ended up buying a set and sending them home with our daughter who drove up from St Louis. The whole point of being in a condo rather than hotel was so we could save on eating out by cooking in the evening. Also some basic spices like salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder would go along way. Having some board games there would add to the fun in the evenings. We ended up spending money on some of those too. Lighting is very dim. A few bulbs need replacing and some signage regarding which light switches work which areas would be helpful. Beds could use memory foam toppers to keep from feeling springs. Overall, we had a great time with family and saw all of the sights we wanted to see. The suggestions above are small investments that would likely make the difference in people coming back a second time. Great location close to Wrigley field. Bus trips were apx 40 min to an hour downtown, but easy access and inexpensive way to get around.

Nice house, but old fashioned

The stay was good, the place was clean and lots of room for everybody, though the furniture was old-fashioned. The price is reasonable. We didn't cook, ordered UberEats. 20 min away from Downtown by car. We enjoyed the stay. Easy check-in and check-out, WIFI worked well. We didn't have to communicate with the owner for anything.

Good value

We liked our stay here so much we're coming back in four months. There is a ton of space, a pretty well-equipped kitchen, and a really large dining/living room. The dedicated parking space is nice because the street parking is pretty crowded, but it was challenging to get the van in and out frequently. There wasn't any loud noise, everything was very comfortable. Looking forward to our next stay here.

Good space

We stayed here for a few nights for a girls weekend. The space itself was nice, clean, and spacious. Great for breakfasts together and just chilling. However, there were a few things that left us feeling this was not a 5-star review. First, there were no toiletries in any of the bathrooms, such as body wash or shampoo. This is different than my experience in many other Vrbos. Second, the property manager could not meet me for check-in (totally ok), but kept texting me that she wanted to stop by to meet us. She would say she was going to stop by each day but not give a time and then didn't ever show up. It was disconcerting to have the threat of someone we did not know "stopping by" at any point to "meet us" when we just wanted to unwind in private. I have not had experiences like this in the past unless there is a problem with the property (there was not). Hopefully this was a one-off and not how she normally interacts with guests.

My nephew has never been to Chicago

It was a great starting point to get to the loop and beyond.. it’s also nice to have your own parking space, especially in a city who doesn’t care if you have a car… pay those high parking fees. My only downside.. master bedroom needs an updated bed.. preferably a king. More tvs and updated.. when you have 2 teenagers.. brutal! The place is perfect and clean
