Nice place! Very helpful and friendly front desk staff! Two thumbs up for them! Clean hotel, no noise, close to some attractions and some good restaurants. They don’t replace towels or clean the rooms every day. That was disappointing and they need to improve the breakfast options.

The Whitehall Hotel never ceases to impress me! I’ve been staying here since December 2019, and every visit has been a consistently exceptional experience. The hospitality is always warm, attentive, and genuine—something that’s hard to come by these days. Now that they’re under the Best Western Collection, the upgrades and added amenities beautifully complement the already outstanding service. It’s clear that the leadership team is committed to preserving the hotel’s charm while enhancing the overall guest experience. Tucked just off the Magnificent Mile, The Whitehall is truly a hidden gem in the heart of downtown Chicago. Whenever I’m in the River North area, there’s no question where I’m staying—it’s always The Whitehall. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a mix of elegance, comfort, and top-tier service!

Most of my experience was positive. The staff was great. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast in the mornings. The one issue I had was with the toilet. I really don't think that room should be used or it should be advised to guests that the toilet is slow to have waste and TP flush down, and often requires a 2-3 flushes. Also, there really should be an alarm clock in the room. I had to use my phone to check the time.

The luxury atmosphere and it's location near the magnificent mile. The staff was lovely and they were expedient with our room service request and excursion recommendation. There was only one slight fall; however, the breakfast selections did not meet my expectations. The quality of the breakfast was a step down from the breakfast served at BW Plus hotels. Once this issue is resolved, The Whitehall will be the talk of the surrounding area.
