Parking is nearby. Our suite was in front of the street and it was really loud every night. Something to consider as some people are sensible to noise. There was no fridge as well. Overall it was great as it was clean, new and well maintained.

Hotel was super quiet, we didn’t hear another guest during our stay at all. Probably the best water pressure I’ve ever had in a hotel shower. It was also in a clean area, plenty of places to eat and walking distance to everything. We even walked all the way to Field Museum! The museum on the ground level was interesting. Staff was nice and answered all the questions I had. My only complaint is that the air conditioning didn’t go below 74 at night so it got a little toasty for my liking. Not the hotels pricing at all, but just a heads up that because it’s downtown, the parking in the garage is $66 a day!

Underwhelming

Compared to other 21c hotels I’ve seen, this one was underwhelming. The room was plain and sort of dingy, and it was not representative of the pictures we saw. We stayed in a “luxury suite” that was advertised as having a separate sleeping area—it was basically a regular hotel room with a couch and small tv shoved into the corner plus a small (think walk-in closet sized with no door) room with a couch and nothing else in the other corner. The shower had good water pressure but was small and cramped. I paid more to stay at this hotel because I’ve been impressed with other 21c hotels (St. Louis’s is gorgeous), but I was left feeling like I wasted my money and could’ve stayed anywhere else nearby. The art gallery is cool, but that’s about it. This place is by no means dirty or bad, but for the money, go somewhere else.

Well, there was a tent in our room, blocking the TV which we did not order. The only special request was we had asked for a corner unit didn’t know there’d be a tent. I was told it was a specialty room. Not terrible just a little weird.

Great room and even better location

We booked a room while in town for Labor Day to watch some baseball and enjoy the city. Location is fantastic and within walking distance to many attractions of the city. Check in was super easy and the king suite was large and clean. The shower is amazing and bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!
