Great value and location, walking distance to my fav. Jah Bar! Riverview is very nice, gym is well stocked, and I didn't opt for the breakfast. Feedback on dim lights is on point, and hopefully will be upgraded over time.

First day the door lock was broken when we back and couldn’t get in, they had to send someone to fix it and left lots of wood scraps inside the door. We had to change room for safety concerns. Second day when we were having breakfast with my wife and 2 kids in the hotel, my in-laws came visit to say quick hi and help take the kids to play area so we could actually eat something, as we’ve got a 6 months baby to take care of. The restaurant manager/owner were extremely rude and asked her staff to ask my In-laws to leave as they are not guests staying in hotel. This is shocking and incredible, disrespectful and shame on you, I would give 0 star if I could.

Clean but furniture slightly old. Within 5mins or shorter to Huaxiba metro exit C. Very nice receptionist who even helped us to order food delivery at nite. Will stay again.

Was upgraded to a suite which was great. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Good location near the river. Can I suggest a signage at the glass door? A sign at eye level will be helpful...before the Maan coffeehouse as I passed by it without realizing it is the entrance.

Great views and location, but the furnishings were dated and showed wear and tear. One of the bathroom cabinets looked damaged and haphazardly fixed. A door behind a bed in one of the rooms looked taped shut. This has potential to be a great stay if the rooms were updated.

Somerset Riverview Chengdu Hotel

I had the executive suite in the 32 floor overlooking the river and the city. A very clean and super place to stay at a reasonable price. Was always treated well by the staff. Stay there every time I go to Chengdu.
