I stayed in few Best Western hotels in the past in California and outside of US in Europe. After this experience i think I am done with BW. My main issues : bedsheets and towels did not look or smell fresh, pilow covers had old stains. Breakfast - white toast bread and some danish, no muffins no bagles, no dark bread... i decided to have the waffle dispenser didn't work properly... so i ended up having an orange and an apple...btw i went to the have my breakfast at 7:45 Am so no excuse tfor the breakfast bar to be empty.. Also the water in the bathrub wasn't draining when I took the shower. Once again I am comparing this stay to the same chain of Best Western hotels and I am extremely disappointed.

The hotel was in the process of being renovated. This was no problem. The room was clean. The only negative was that the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. It was a false alarm, I was unable to go back to sleep after that because there were sirens passing the hotel constantly. The continental breakfast was very good.

I like that it was near the train station so I could take the train to the arena. Thanks for the recommendation from the front desk girl. Other than that the hotel room was filthy. Roaches,urine stains on the floor in the bathroom, dirty linen and towels. The hand-wash,body wash and shampoo was not filled up so I used the bare minimum afraid I would run out. Other than a place to rest my head and a good cold Ac system. Not much more to say. Check out was at 11 but the cleaning staff made sure to make as much noise as possible so no one had a chance at sleeping in late. Continental breakfast I didn't even go down and check out. I was so disgusted with the cleanliness didn't want to eat there.

My weekend at the Best Western!

The rooms have just been renovated. Everything looked great, but there was an issue with the tub spout. It was installed incorrectly and was spraying water back into the tub surround (I'm a plumber) and the water was leaking through to the other side of the wall. The floors were soaked. The new "smart" TV didn't work because the Wi-Fi signal was so weak, you weren't able to stream. My wife walked out the side entrance door to smoke a cigarette and encountered a homeless women smoking crack in the stair well. But to be fair, the lady did offer to share!!.. lol. I sh*t you not! I'm laughing now, but my wife was a little pissed off about it. This hotel has potential, but until these issues have been addressed. We will not be back, nor will we recommend it to friends and family.
