Nice place kitched was fully prepared for anything you might have in mind of making. Everything you need for tea or coffee. Rug could be a tripping hazard on front patio. Master bath shower doors didnt want to move. All in all it was a 10 out of 10 I would stay again.

We enjoyed a two-night stay at Westover Hills. The check-in was very smooth and appreciated the assistance with the keypad. Once this was figured out it was a fine rest of the stay. The place was incredibly convenient to Uptown to take in a concert at Spectrum Center. We made a couple meals in and the kitchen could not have been more stocked to accomplish this. The neighborhood was very quiet with the exception of the nearby train tracks that brought a train horn several times each night but we had a heads up on this so we expected it. If in need of a convenient place to Uptown this is it for sure!

My daughter and I stayed there for a short antiquing/exploration trip with my dog. We felt relaxed the entire time and didn’t want to leave. The backyard may not be the best for small children (watch out for the sprinkler head in the middle of the yard) and other tripping hazards which probably also is due to the time of year we were there, but the home went over and beyond meeting our needs. Communication with Harriet was prompt and enjoyable. The home was well stocked and the beds were comfortable! We look forward to going back soon!

The house was very clean and nice! The host was very kind and helped us get into the keypad when we struggled a little at first. She was quick to answer and immediately fixed the issue. There was a loose board between the kitchen and dining room. And the shower didn’t stay hot very long. We had 6 guests total and after the second shower, we had to wait a little while for the next person to get in. I can’t remember if it’s in the listing, but there is a train nearby that does blow its horn throughout the entire night. I sleep heavy, so it didn’t bother me much, but when we were up late I definitely heard it every 20-30 mins. One of my friends said she stayed up most of the night when it would sound. Overall the house was really cute and tidy. And I wouldn’t mind staying again!

At first glance, this home appears clean and nicely updated. Once we settled in, it became clear that many of the “updates” were poorly done DIY projects with noticeable construction issues. Upon arrival, we found an active wasp nest at the front door, dirty patio furniture on the front and back patio, and a primary shower door that was malfunctioning and clearly in need of repair. To the owner’s credit, these issues were addressed quickly after we reported them, although the shower door could not be repaired during our stay. The owner did offer a two-hour late checkout, which we appreciated. However, the pest problem was the final straw prompting this review. We noticed several small baby bugs in the primary bathroom shower and bedrooms and multiple large roaches running through the kitchen. It became clear this house had an infestation. I immediately contacted the owner to report what we had observed and expressed how disappointed we were. Rather than acknowledging the seriousness of the issue or offering any meaningful solution or compensation, the owner attempted to minimize our concerns by suggesting they were not roaches. Based on what we personally observed, that explanation was not credible. A vacation rental should be clean, safe, and properly maintained. While cosmetic updates can make a property look appealing in photos, they cannot make up for significant maintenance issues and and and an apparent pest problem. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this property.

I stay in a lot of VRBOs and have never stayed at one more well appointed than this one! The kitchen is stocked so well, the cute box of pet products that my dog loved, all the extras with the toiletries and personal items...things i never thought would be avaliable...you definitely made it feel as hospitable and ready for anything!! Not to mention that the house was so incredibly cute, loved the layout and took a few pics and measurements of your kitchen that I plan to model mine on! And the game area, that was amazing too! Loved the pacman arcade game, the very BIG, fenced yard, the back deck, it was just a great stay. You have fully outdone the house...the neighborhood felt safe and quiet, the check out instructions by far the easiest ever. I wish you had more properties would be my only critique because you certainly go FAR above and beyond on this one!!! Thanks for the stay.

This home was beautiful and was super spacious and safe for my family and I. It's nestled in a quiet neighborhood, which made for a very peaceful start after lots of adventuring in the city. There are a lot of cool appliances to use and the closed in fence backyard was great for our dog.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful and very comfortable stay at this adorable cottage! It is an easy 5-minute drive to just about anything you could want to do or need to get, and the neighborhood felt very safe. We had some issues with the code and the keypad the first day, but Harriet was very responsive and solved the issues right away. The home was very clean and had so many extra touches that we appreciated, and more appliances and gadgets than we could ever use! It is evident that Harriet has put a lot of thought into what her guests need and want, and this made the whole experience even more pleasurable. We would definitely stay here again!
