We thoroughly enjoyed the property and the staff at this little gem in the heart of Charleston within walking distance to oh so much!! If you’re looking for small boutique hotel charm, a wonderful daily breakfast and a friendly little bar for a chilled beverage at the end of your day, this fits the bill. The room and bathroom were a cool mix of old world and modern. Bathroom is huge as hotel bathrooms go. Will definitely return.

The Palmetto was a perfect spot! The lobby was welcoming and adorable, the location was perfect to explore the city by walking, and we took advantage of the bikes one morning! The rooms were clean and the layout was nice! The renovations were done very well and they maximized space in the rooms and lobby without making anything feel “small”. Everything was just what we needed for a fun and romantic stay in Charleston!

Nice property with a very good staff. Good location for shopping and dining. Very modern and nice bathroom. Comfortable bed but room is a bit aged. Morning breakfast and evening cocktails are excellent.

The hotel was wonderful. Our room was nice, BUT, sound from other rooms weee magnified. Above us, the inhabitants were Walking on the floor about midnight and the sound boomed in our room! Not cool!

First time staying at the Palmetto Hotel. Couldn’t have been more happy with our stay. The receptionist and on duty guest services was exceptional. Noli went above and beyond on making my wife and I feel at home and help start our Wedding Anniversary weekend with such a great first time experience.
