Excellent service from the moment we checked in. Rooms were immaculate. Lobby is beautifully decorated and music takes you away to another era. Conveniently located in French Quarter. Highly recommend!

Our experience at the Palmetto was excellent from start to finish. We were greeted upon arrival by the delightful staff… Jodi Ann was just adorable! The entire hotel and staff really were such a great vibe. We will definitely be back soon!

The front staff was not very friendly when we arrived. Several times they acted annoyed to answer questions. They don’t provide ice buckets in the room or instructions on getting ice - and drinks are not cold. Pro is its close to the French quarter and lots of dining options.

Gorgeous hotel in an amazing location. Wonderful staff, and we loved how good it smelled in there! (Seriously whatever scent they’re piping into the lobby was amazing) Our only complaint was a lack of drawers in our room to put our clothes away, needing to keep our suitcases sprawled open took a little bit of the gloss away from he room.

I’ve stayed at The Palmetto Hotel twice now, and I honestly can’t imagine booking anywhere else when I visit Charleston. The location is perfect, just steps away from great restaurants and walkable to much of downtown. Despite being in a central area, it’s incredibly quiet and peaceful. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and has a great ambiance. The bar is a nice touch and adds to the charm. Accommodations are consistently comfortable and thoughtfully maintained. Whether you’re in town for work or a weekend getaway, it hits all the marks. Highly recommend.

Unique older building, restored to comfortable hotel, along the popular Easy Bay street. Staff was helpful, kind welcoming. Fantastic boutique hotel, clean, and friendly staff. Can't beat the location. Complimentary breakfast is pretty nice. Parking is surprisingly easy with valet in the back and you can also park in the public lot right behind hotel but you will not save anything by doing that so recommend valet parking. Rooms are nice and though it feels more like an European size room, they are comfortable with large king sized beds and large modern bathrooms. The showers are huge and even have a fancy shower head that shoots water sideways. Though we did not use it the mini bar is super well stocked with wines, beers, and spirits. The bar downstairs is really good with craft cocktails and friendly bartenders. We visited labor day weekend and on Saturday this place was super happening. We've been coming to Charleston for 35 years, staying in hotels in the historic district and this one is definitely now on the come-back list.
