We got a balcony like we asked for (though not guaranteed), and they allowed us to check in early when our room was available and clean. The room was nice, modern, and had just about everything we needed. The reception just downstairs was available at reasonable hours to accommodate however they could, whether that be extra towels or blankets. Oh, and the location is phenomenal, so close to amazing restaurants and bars (check out Lime), and the old venetian harbor is easily walkable (10-15min)! We'd definitely stay here again!

The property was at perfect walking distance from everything. You were able to experience the quiet environment during the morning, and at night it became full of fun nightlife. With the heat it was very practical to be close to the shops since you can just go take a break if it’s too warm. i highly recommend!

Great find!

Great location in the old town. Lovely spacious room with very welcoming staff! Everything you need from a very good accommodation. We had breakfast outside across from the accommodation in the courtyard where you could choose sun or shade. Accommodation had all amenities close by from restaurants, to bars, to shops, etc. we would definitely recommend and would stay again!

The room was great, so was Ada, the lady that greeted us and stayed longer to receive us after hours. She was so kind. The rest of the staff was useless and totally ruined the second day of our stay. They turned a simple private taxi order to the airport into an ordeal for us. They first raised the price, which I still agreed to pay, then they said if we don’t pay in cash they will not order the taxi. I ended up walking around town in heat for 2 hours and found my own taxi station, accepting credit cards. We have been in Greece for 15 days and even the street vendors offer credit card payments. And this after we paid this property for 4 nights and only stayed three nights because the ferry was cancelled due to the wind.

Minaret Suites is honestly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Our room was super clean and really spacious, with a cute little balcony that looked out over a charming neighborhood street—it felt like something out of a movie. The location couldn’t be better. Everything we needed—restaurants, shops, sights—was just a short walk away, which made getting around super easy. But what really made our stay special was the staff. Everyone we met was so friendly, warm, and genuinely helpful. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We’d definitely stay here again!

Lovely hotel in a great area of the old town of Chania. We were a family of 7 and stayed in 3 rooms. Very comfortable, clean and close to shopping and food. Easy to get to after being dropped off by our taxi- only about 600 feet of walking on flat road surface to the hotel check in.

One night stay in Chania Old Town

We decided to stay in Chania as we had a flight the next day. The room was stylish and very comfortable (an upgrade from our booking) in a delightful and lively area. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast across the road was lovely

Excellent prime location in Old Town Chania. Minaret suites are immaculate, clean and outstanding attention from Katia and Konstantina. Daily cleaning. Can walk 5min to water front, restaurants down the street amazing. Be aware parking is very tricky so be sure to take advice from Minaret - it is laid out for you. Thank you Minaret, we hope to return soon.

Great Hotel !!! Definitely recommend and would stay here again. Only thing to be mindful is the parking and accessing the hotel with luggage can be a bit of a challenge since the street is pedestrian only except from 7am to 9am.

The property was spacious and very clean. The maid cleaned the room everyday with fresh towels. You are in the middle of the centre of the old town so lots of walking. Our television was not working on arrival but was replaced with a new one within days. The staff were so friendly and polite and gave us a bottle of wine so say sorry for the television not working. All I would say is we missed not having a balcony to sit out on and dry towels etc but that was an oversight on our part. We also found parking difficult as most areas are permit only, so a lot of walking was involved just in case you decided to book and have health issues. Lovely area full of shops, bars and restaurants and amazing hotel.

Property is in the old town part of Chania, so lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The old town is also pedestrianised so you can wander with no fear of traffic. The apartment is modern with a usable kitchen and a comfortable King sized bed. The housekeeping is excellent with regular changes of sheets and towels. The only downsides are; the long flight of stairs up to the apartment, no lift, so lugging suitcases up and down is a bit of a pain and it is in a street full of restaurants and bars so general chatter and laughter noise until quite late. The windows are double glazed and have have external shutters. If you don't mind sleeping with the aircon on closing the windows and shutters was effective at keeping down the noise. All in all, a good location and good value for the price.
