When we arrived to check in at approximately 8 pm, no one was at the desk. We waited 5-10 minutes until my husband yelled “Hello” and a man came to check us in. He asked if we could pay in cash for the two night stay in spite of signs at the desk stating they didn’t take cash.
Our room was tucked around the far side of the building, again in spite of obviously empty rooms in between. The building between the front desk and our room was run down and seemed to have longer term residents.
Our room was clean and spacious - it even had a small balcony. We only got one key card. We had 3 people staying in the room (a double queen), but only 2 towels were provided. We called the front desk to ask for another, and it took close to an hour and another phone call to get it. When the same man from the front desk delivered it, he asked for used towel in return.
The beds and pillows were uncomfortably flat and hard, so much so, that we chose to drive home late the next day rather than stay. Overall, we would not recommend a stay unless necessary.
