Nice to unwind after 12 hours of driving

We got in late and check in was still fairly Easy We had a phone call a few days prior to ensure we understood the noone under 18 rule in bath house or pool . Which was fine as we had the room with hot tub anyway. Our room was dated but they were in the process of refreshing rooms, new flooring and furniture was being unpacked as we departed. We did have a fridge but no microwave . But the tub was great. Perfect temp, and clean. A perfect way to unwind on a cold misty night,after driving all day.

WARNING. This property asserts to be family friendly. This is false advertising. Kids under 18 are allowed only in hotel rooms and do not have access to the facilities or other parts of the property. At check in they were rude and attempted to charge an additional fee of $100 on a prepaid booking. While waiting to check in we observed two different guests ask for additional towels. They were given one for their group and told that “laundry services were behind” and they could come back and “try again later” Strong recommendation to avoid this property. You will be disappointed.

The water smells a little funky, but I'm assuming that can't be helped with all the different minerals in it? All I know is I woke up early to enjoy the balcony hottub before check out, and even after 2 hrs I still didnt want to leave, lol. Wish we would have stayed here more than the one night. Also, travelling with a little one, I appreciate coming across a hotel with TVs in the room that have access to streaming services instead of just cable.

The bath house was amazing, it is a real 2 star hotel however. What was a real turnoff was upon check it we were told with some attitude that we should have called before booking via Expedia to check their pet friendly rooms since they were all sold out, not the case the the app. We were able to stay, but they charged another $100 holding fee and mentioned explicitly how they just replaced the carpet and if there was any evidence of a pet they would charge us. Not sure how that was going to work since clearly there was an animal… overall the bathhouse is why we went, that was great. The room, meh, the staff in the front desk, not good.

We are definitely looking forward to staying here again as we only stayed for one night on an adventuous whim. Stayed in a room with our own hot tub and it was great to be able to use it whenever we wanted to. We really loved being able to control the temperature of the water and the robes were a nice touch. We didn't get to experience the community pool or cold plunge but it looked like everyone in there was enjoying themselves. We had dinner at the restaurant on the golf course and the food was decently priced and delicious. Whatever chocolate cake we had for dessert was fantastic.
