We stayed four nights at this home in Carbondale for a ski trip. The views are beautiful, the setting is super quiet, and we loved seeing deer on the property. It’s also conveniently close to town, which made everything easy.The house is great for groups. The kitchen is huge with large appliances, and the grills and hot tubs were perfect after long ski days. There’s plenty of parking on site as well.However, the home itself feels outdated and didn’t fully match the listing. It advertised smart TVs, but the TVs were older and we couldn’t get them working. Management did send a technician, but the issue wasn’t resolved. We also had problems with the WiFi, the treadmill not working, intermittent heat downstairs, a nonfunctional back door lock code, and weak plumbing. Bed comfort varied.Based on the condition alone, we’d rate it three stars, but we’re giving four because the management company was proactive and communicative in trying to fix the issues. Great location and potential, but it needs updates to match the listing.
