The staff were all quite welcoming and kind. Our room was comfortable. Great location near shopping and restaurants. We were surprised that "free parking" meant finding street parking in a non-metered neighborhood a few blocks away. Breakfast was quite tasty, and because of an impending storm, the staff opened a dining room in the house in which we were staying so we did not have to go outside to get breakfast. Unfortunately, we did not stay long enough and the weather did not cooperate for us to sample and comment on some of the many things offered by the hotel (i.e., bikes, beach chairs and towels). We will have to come back!

The Queen Victorian is right down in the heart of Cap May. They serve you a complimentary breakfast, which is nice with plenty of options. The staff is nice and willing to help with any of your needs. The Queen Victorian is located right between the beach and the Washington Street Mall. They also supply there guest with complimentary beach items and bikes to get around town on. I would recommend it!!

First, the kitchen and housekeeping Staff were great, as was the property. However, we have an issue with the management on this one. We were getting ready to head out for dinner and accidently closed our door without the room key, leaving our wallets and cell phones inside. This was roughly 6:45 p.m. on a Tuesday night. There was no staff available and we relied on the kindness of strangers to use their phones to call the emergency numbers listed at the front desk. There appeared to be a primary emergency number, which went to voice mail, and a secondary last-ditch real emergency number - which oddly went to the same voice mail! We needed to contact the police to see if they had more accurate information for the house and they encountered the same issue. After two hours of calls and waiting, a very nice member of the staff (Annie) had come from her home back to the B&B to let us in. Not the owner nor the general manager. We never received a follow-up inquiry or acknowledgement, let alone any compensation offer for the poor response. Nice place, but we felt abandoned by the proprietors when we needed them the most. An escalated series of emergency numbers should ultimately reach a real person. Not having access to our medications compounded the matter and fortunately did not turn into a medical emergency. Proceed with caution!

This is our first time staying at the Queen Victoria and we loved it .it was very clean and the staff were amazing. Special shoutout to Monica . There was a big selection for breakfast .and afternoon tea We enjoyed sitting in the little garden when we ate breakfast and the afternoon tea . It is ao close to the beach and Washington Street . Parking is a bit of a challenge but we managed to find a good parking spot . We walked all over . We will definitely be going back .

Though we arrived early for check in, the hostess texted us when the room would be ready. She was very accommodating and none of our time was wasted. The room is convenient to both the beach and the Washington Street Mall.

Staff was great, the BNB itself is amazing but could use a little more attentiveness to details and a little more cleanliness. The breakfast was pretty badly presented and options never changed. Food was flavorless and seemed as if it sat there for a very long time. They had the food in a plain old dish on a hot plate covered in aluminum foil…that’s not exactly inviting and loses its elegance when you expect it look like how you’d be served in a pretty Victorian home. Disappointing to say the least. The area….AMAZING!! The shops and dining options….AMAZING!!! Safe , clean, and surrounding homes are stunning!! Two blocks from the water…..Cape May will definitely be visited again…but will def try a different BNB in the surrounding area.

Gorgeous Victorian inspired room with king bed, fireplace, cozy sitting area and huge tub. Breakfasts were delicious. Walkable to shops and dining and beach. Wonderful spot!!

The entire area around this property was of the same victorian vibe. It is well kept and all structures are in very good condition. We did not like the walk up two flights of long rickety stairs and the room was very cluttered. The bed was nice however it creaked and made lots of noise every time you moved. The windows were not very tight so we heard the wind all night long. The stay on a whole was about a 65 out of 100. Shower was very nice with two shower heads and plenty of room unlike many newer designed hotel showers that have just about enough room to turn around in.
