Poor Docking Facilities
No issues at all with the bedrooms, kitchen, living areas of the home or pool everything was fine. Home listing states docking for a 25 foot boat. At time of booking I requested photos of the docking and was told the dock would be perfect for my 22 foot boat. No photos were available. The main purpose of my trip was to bring my boat and do some fishing. The sea wall has zero water depth at low tide. From the prop of the owners boat to the end of the dock is 10 feet with two pilings at 7 feet between them. With a 2 foot tide it is impossible to leave a boat tied to this dock without damage. The owner did arrange for us to use docking one canal over but our boat was not in view. Paying a premium for a gulf access canal home and then finding we had no docking was a disappointment. You will learn in your welcome email that you have no access to the garage. Cape Coral does not allow boats or trailers to be stored in the driveway. We had to arrange and pay for boat trailer storage for our stay. The home does have 5 outdoor security cameras with sound so you better not be camera shy.
