We had a great stay with 8 people at Villa Aperitivo. The place is exactly as advertised and the communication with Daniela was very pleasant.I would advise to rent a car if you want to visit some villages in the neighbourhood.The pool is nice, surroundings are quite and the view stunning.

Our stay was above and beyond our expectations! Filippo was a fantastic host, very helpful and kind - the home is exactly as pictured, with a pharmacy and grocery store nearby. 15 min cabbus ride to the Lucca city centre, despite being in a more remote area it was very easy to get around even without a vehicle.

Excellent Family-Friendly Stay - Highly Recommended! The house is very large and spacious. Everything is very clean and comfortable. It feels very homey. We stayed with children and the pool was really convenient. What a delightful house - located in the center of town yet incredibly quiet. We would be very happy to return again! A parasol in the pool would help. Thant's it!

Beautiful house very well decorated. Easy to feel like home. Lots of equipments especially the kitchen. Good location: we’ve reached in less than an hour Florence, Pisa, Montecatini, Forte dei Marmi and of course Lucca. Was a family week, mixing all generations, and everybody had a blast. Highly recommended!

Stunning in every way

The Villa is just stunning, so beautiful. We had such a wonderful holiday and Daniela was so helpful. You definitely need a car to be able to appreciate the beautiful area and what it has to offer. We loved it thank you, wonderful memories made x I would suggest a welcome pack on arrival with just some basic local products. We have had this before at other Villas and was very welcoming.

Key collection was easy, however checking in online was perhaps more difficult than necessary. I would suggest reducing this to ID photographs and key collection only. The Villa itself is as beautiful as the photos show!

Lovely villa with great amenities.

Lovely villa with great amenities. House manager was flexible with check in and out times which was very helpful. The location is good although fairly close to the road which can be heard from the villa. We didn’t know how to work the A/C on the first floor but we used the fans instead. Supermarket, farmacy, shops etc only a short drive away which is handy.

Beautiful Villa in the coutryside

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful villa tucked in the countryside just outside Lucca. The Villa had a great little pool which we made the most of every day and there was plenty of space for us to relax, cook and have a lovely holiday together as a family. It was clean and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Being set back from the road, up a steep hill, means the view across the Tuscan hills from the the back of the villa and garden was wonderful. Our welcome host was kind and friendly and was on hand if we needed anything. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Home away from home

I loved the authenticity of the decor and setting. Because I was a woman traveling alone with various guests joining me at different times, it was imperative that I feel safe. There was never a time that I felt uncomfortable sleeping with all windows wide open at night in order to maximize the cool night breezes. The private country setting allowed me to unwind from my adventure packed days. I stayed there for 30 continuous days and my guests all said the villa was their favorite part of their Tuscany experience . The recycling demands were a pain and stressful to foreigners. We tried hard but the language barrier made it hard for us to understand the various rules. The bathroom situation is not optimal. Luckily my guests and I were fit enough to navigate the stairs up and down for nighttime bathroom visits. For your guests a clothes dryer would be helpful, very often our laundry did not completely dry during the day on the clothes racks and had to be moved inside.
