Do yourself a favor and skip this property.The host started off reasonably enough — responsive to check-in questions via the VRBO app — but that quickly fell apart. When I requested a modest 30-minute extension on checkout (11:30 instead of 11:00), he stonewalled me repeatedly, acting as though it was a massive imposition. He eventually admitted no one was checking in after us. So what exactly was the problem?But that is not even close to the worst of it.Someone entered the property without any notice while we were still there — hours before checkout. Let that sink in. No knock, no warning, no communication whatsoever. It was alarming, violating, and frankly, I had every right to call the police. This is not a minor oversight — it is a serious breach of guest safety and basic human decency.When I tried to reach out using the contact number listed on the VRBO itinerary? Wrong number. A host who can't be bothered to keep his own contact information accurate is a host who has zero interest in your well-being as a guest.Stay somewhere you'll actually feel safe. This is not that place.I filed a complaint with vrbo and received a refund directly from them.
