This is a perfectly nice hotel for a couple of night stays in the Banff area! Breakfast is great for the price ($8.99/adult) and the property offers plenty of free parking. Close to grocery stores and pharmacies, some dining options. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean and comfortable. Our only complaint was the cigarette smell in one of our group's rooms, which we communicated to the front desk but wasn't addressed during our stay.

Overall the hotel was great, unless you get a room on the side with the train tracks. The first time we were there we had a room away from the tracks and it was perfectly fine but the last time we were there we had a room on the side by the tracks and we heard every train go by. If you book a room get one away from the rail side

Hotel was undergoing renovations during our stay. Even with this we still had very little interuptions and had a very pleasant stay. Construction was kept to a minimum and was always cleaned up afterwards.

The property was gross. Not only old and outdated but the beds were not comfortable, there was pee on the toilet, the hotel had a weird aroma, the outside (side) door was unlocked past midnight and it was under construction. There should have been a notification. The stair rails were literally duck tapped together. This property was stupidly expensive for the condition it was in.

Room was clean, and had the essentials. Breakfast for $9 was wonderful. Amenities were great. Front desk were very loud at 1am had to tell them to keep their voices down.
