The room was comfortable with a firm bed for when I went to sleep but, the reason I am disappointed with my decision to stay at Krystal Grand Cancun is because they didn’t have anyone who spoke English to make my stay a little less complicated when asking questions. Also, I almost fell three different times in separate areas of the resort because of the rain and the slippery floors that are throughout the resort.

Altitude: Checked in on a Sunday. Two minutes after checking in we were told we would be getting a tour. A lady took us to a paper property map, asked about massages, excursions and then what time did we want breakfast 9 or 10? What? For the timeshare. What timeshare? No, not interested. Tried all week to make reservations at the specialty restaurants. Nope. Not available. Went to two restaurants which didn’t require reservations. 1.5 hr wait for both. No thanks. Finally complained and were able to go to the hibachi. Food was fabulous and the cook was amazing! Also the bartender in the Altitude, Jahir is fantastic! Keep in mind, we were there Sunday to Friday.

I enjoyed my staff overall. Friendly staff very clean. The beach was very close n clean. My only complaint is that the buffet food was not good at all. Not enough variety. No vegan or sugar free options for vegan options. Food did not look or taste good. The restaurant were amazing.

There was a very large ventilation unit behind the hotel, and the noise from it made our stay extremely unpleasant. I asked to change rooms, but I was told that because we booked through Expedia, we would have to pay an additional fee to move to the other side. It was very frustrating that they kept blaming everything on Expedia.
