The hotel itself and the room is nice and clean. There isn't really parking on site so beware you may have to walk to and from Canberra Centre for your car (with a reduced rate upon hotel validation)

The Sebel is a great place to stay. It’s right in town and at close proximity to shops, library, restaurants and bus stop.Excellent staff and housekeeping.However,there is a safety hazard in the rooms with a step at the door leading to the bathrooms. A few times we stripped in the night and when I called front desk to check if there is another room to move in,we were told that all the rooms are the same. This is the only problem which makes me think of not returning next time to this beautiful place.

Perfect Location, Really Comfortable Stay

We stayed for three nights as part of a family holiday. The hotel is located in an ideal location, close to shops and restaurants. The family room was comfortable, although the beds were somewhat hard. Most amenities were provided and to a good quality. Whilst there is no on-site parking, check-in staff were really helpful is providing suggestions.

This hotel has a very difficult parking situation. The cost was much more than the home described and expected. We had a very long walk to reach our car. That was the most challenging part of our stay.

The room was equipped with everything we needed (although, had to ask for a 2nd wine glass as there was only one), it was quiet, with a very comfortable bed, lovely clean bathroom & a wonderful Sri Lankan restaurant just across the road If there was parking on site I would have given it 5 stars - however, we found a park on the street a block away.
