The room's furniture was old and dirty. The toilet did not work. The air conditioning did not work. After complaining to the staff at the front desk we were moved to another room. The staff was great but the hotel's condition lack maintenance and remodeling. The price was high for the condition of the hotel. Trash on the hallways and parking lot. I won't stay there again.

When my children and I checked in at 9pm, for a 2 night stay, we went to our room. It was dirty and had not been cleaned after the last guest (check out is 11am). I went back to the front desk and they gave us another room that was much better. It even smelled clean. Immediately my kids went to the pool, it was virtually empty and we thought that was a bonus! Until, my children tried to enter the pool! It was absolutely freezing and they could not even get in it! It says the pool is heated! I complained, but nothing was done! The next night, there was no parking in the lot as apparently, a wedding was being held in a banquet room. The lobby and halls were loud. No prior notice was given to guests! For 2 days, there was no ice in any ice machine in the building that guests had access too! Front desk got it from the lounge reluctantly and with delay. Day 2, our key cards wouldn’t work either! I feel duped, as nothing on the website was true in the actual hotel. My 15 year old son said, “ I guess you get what you pay for!” I guess he is right!

Firstly, the room we had wasnt really the best. It was the room directly next to the parking lot even though it was their 2nd floor. Signages werent a good help, ended up using the stairs since we couldnt find the elevator. The hallway carpets are really old and the look ot the rooms from the hallway are terrible. It feels unsafe. The carpet in the room we had, has holes or small cut pieces. The bathtub also has stains even though they said it was actually clean. I tried to ask if we can at least maybe get moved somewhere as my husband cannot tolerate noises and being close to the parking lot doesnt really help. The front desk said that there is something in the 3rd floor but was still not clean. I said that we can wait in the lobby or even just come back, as we didnt even touched anything in the room. However, the front desk changed her reasoning to something like changing my room would be too much work for her and of course they "were full". She said she didnt have the time to make the changes. Tss. My phone internet is even faster than the hotel's internet. It keep kicking me out or it would just logged me out. I am never a complainer and barely asked to be moved to another room. But this room is just untolerable. If I were you guys, just spend a few more dollars for some peace of mind and security.

.I was wary about staying here because the prices were so low. I was elated to find out that the place is worth considerably more than its prices. The rooms are clean, the staff are lovely, in the area is very convenient being close to the train as well as shopping and downtown. highly recommend

The Hotel is Dated and could used some Upgrades (especially the Bathtub). Complementary Lotions were rancid. Overall, the price reflected the Stay. Great Location.

This was a pretty nice place considering the price, stayed in a pet friendly room in which case the carpets need to be particularly cleaned properly, but the rest of the room was clean with plenty of space and no pet restrictions was nice. The pool and area was clean, the building seems to be in good shape, staff were great. Keep in mind it’s also a residency as well as a hotel, so people live there full time too and hang around the north entrance (#2) all the time, so maybe you and your children should make a point of using one of the other entrances.

Place was clean, bed was comfortable. The ice machines on level 1 and 2 were not working and had black and red slime in them. The TV wouldnt work, it seemed to be out of memory and 2 of the doors near my suite wouldn't work.

Checked in late because flights were delayed, debit systems were down but everyone was so exhausted because it was so late. Zarifa took fantastic care of us on the first day and made sure we got some sleep and dealt with everything in the morning, for the rest of the trip Grant was our go to guy and he was super helpful. will definitely come back next time I'm in Calgary !
