I WISH THIS WAS MY LAKE HOUSE!It's the perfect combination of "getting away from everything in the north woods" and "access to modern convenience."This cabin is NOT roughing it. There are granite countertops, lots of cabinets, high speed WIFI, multiple smart TVs, great water pressure, and a sauna! The cabin is only a few minutes and 1 turn off of a major highway and just 5 minutes from restaurants and groceries in Cadillac.But it somehow still feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. There were bald eagles and herons in the lake nearly every day. The most often "engine noise" was a lawn mower. Instead of the constant hum of traffic it was mostly crickets and birds for background noise.

Returned to Cadillac for my 60th high school reunion.

Was delighted to be able to spend a month on Stoneledge Lake outside Cadillac and get together with "old" girlfriends. The cottage is perfect and this recent widow especially liked being able to bring her Havanese dog with her.

Just what I needed

As I was sitting on the beach overlooking a peaceful lake, toes in the sand and watching my dog live her best life at the end of the dock watching the birds and dragon flys I couldn't ask for anything more. This is what I was looking for! There were a few quirks but nothing that deterred my stay. The host was more than responsive when I needed help with the grill. He even offered kind words when he found out I wasn't traveling for good reasons. If I have to complain about anything it would be that the couch is not positioned to look at the beautiful view! (I even tried to move it but it was too heavy)

Nice lake house for ski weekend

Nice updated house on a small lake. Nice views, and a sauna! Everything top notch. Appreciated the cleanliness. Kayaks look to be available in warmer months. Jack was easy to deal with and readily available. Great stay, would return on a future trip to Caberfae.

Very clean. Very cute. Very well supplied and stocked. If I had to choose anything to be picky about, it would be the lack of seating. There’s only a tiny couch and we had to sit in the stools because not everone could comfortably sit on the couch.

Home sweet home

We had a great time. Very clean home. Family friendly. We enjoyed the kayaks, sitting on the patio, and using the grill. Just a short drive to Cadillac. The property manager was just a phone call away. Highly highly recommend! We will be returning!

We booked this location specifically for the soft beautiful beachfront on a private lake which it ended up being a big shock and disappointment of the condition of their beach…We are a family of five traveling with three children and two dogs.. The beach was overgrown with weeds and vegetation and overgrown weeds crowd the beachfront and also created an absolutely awful smell. They clearly do not care for the beach itself or the lake in front of their property.. we did complain and asked for the situation to be rectified.. We also rode around the lake and noticed everyone else had nice well taken care of beach fronts and their lake fronts were also taken care of…The host wasn’t very kind in the end and was extremely disappointing.. He did absolutely NOTHING for us and clearly didn’t care how we felt as guests.. I’ve stayed in many vacation homes and this was the first complaint and issue I’ve ever had and I’ve never had a host be as entitled and rude as this one. We are an extremely care free and super loving family and just like nice vacations away to relax and we always take exceptional care of the homes we stay in we also are very simple in the requests we ask and this host just could not accept the truth of the reality of his home based off his listing and what people would expect…

We had a wonderful stay at Stone Lake Lodge. Everything we needed in a very comfortable and updated space. Very quiet and relaxing, great outdoor space. We will definitely book again when visiting the Cadillac area.

Awesome long weekend stay

Came to Cadillac for a wedding, and the Stone Ledge Lake cabin was perfect for what we needed. Super cute and comfortable accommodations, very quiet, and had all the amenities we needed. Jack was super responsive when I had a question, and you can easily see he is focused on providing a great experience for guests!

Stone Ledge Lake stay

Great place to stay. Clean, well maintained, beautiful grounds. Deck, outside table, and firepit were great for hanging out with family. House had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place for a short stay of a few days or a long stay of a week. The kayaks and canoe were a great perk.

Beautiful and relaxing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Cadillac. The house was extremely clean, very well put together and had a beautiful setting. The lake is quiet and relaxing to look at. My husband was able to catch fish off the dock. Cadillac is a cute little town and we would definitely recommend it.

Very nice lake cottage getaway.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. Lots of good fishing and great picnic area. Enjoyed having the kids and grandkids over for fishing, grilling and fun in the kayaks and canoe. We brought our own fishing boat and paddle board. Quiet and peaceful. Cottage very clean and host very accommodating.

Nice place to stay

We had our 65th LeRoy class reunion. There was a confusion regarding the location of the cottage. Five years ago we stayed at Stone Ledge Lake on the other side of the lake. So we went to the wrong place. I am not sure if that is still a rental. Jack finally realized we were at the wrong place. We had a good time staying there. A few things needed fixing. Screen door would not open from the inside. Needed to go outside and lift the corner up to open. Air condition gave us a problem. As senior citizens we felt like hand rales are needed on the steps outside.

Beautiful, newly remodeled lake home

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights. The home is recently remodeled with all new appliances and air. The home is well equipped with everything you need. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. The kayaks at the home were used daily. I did not swim at the home because it is mucky. It is sandy enough to get in the kayak. The lake is all private beaches so I wasn't able to swim at the home.
