The first two weekend days of the stay were great. However, on Monday, loud construction began and persisted throughout the week. This was never disclosed upfront or before/during/after the booking process. The construction noise made it impossible to enjoy the unit from Monday onward. The host first said technically they are allowed to do construction until October 1st, but said he’d investigate. He later acknowledged this construction has been ongoing for years. He was apologetic but did not offer any recourse, and I was forced to check out early due to the construction. My advice: verify with the host ahead of time whether there is even a slight possibility of construction before booking. If there is, skip this place. If the host guarantees there is no construction work taking place, it’s worth considering a stay.
Be advised there is a large building being built adjacent to the unit

Really nice condo and view

Owner was very responsive to our needs. Area was lovely with nice pool and swim up bar. A bit of a walk to the beach but worth it once you are there. Best part was the lovely view from the balcony. We often sat out there or ate lunch or dinner. We also enjoyed the live music at the bar and happy hour! Thanks fir a very enjoyable stay.

Relax and rejuvenate

David's place is very beautiful, clean and cozy. The condo is set up with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view from the balcony is calming and peaceful. Sparkling blue pool and the gorgeous grounds lovingly manicured with tropical shrubs and palm trees overlooking sailboats and spouting whales in the bay is just spectacular. It feels like a very calm, quiet and intimate community. The people are so welcoming and warm, much like the lovely, sunny weather. That being said, if you are interested in a more busy, hectic, touristy atmosphere, you are only a 10 minute Uber ride away from downtown Cabo San Lucas where all the action is happening. Don't miss the excitement of Medano Beach and the fabulous upscale marina. Anderas, at the pool bar, is very knowledgeable about the area and is happy to help with excursions and recommendations of things to do and places to see. Our favorite night of our trip was an evening dinner cruise on a 100 ft luxury sailing yacht. Baby whales, electric sunset, top shelf drinks, fabulous food and the best service ever from wonderful young men was such a highlight. We look forward to returning to David's place and doing it all over again. wonderful stay

I'd stayed before - and I'd stay again

This is my second (or maybe third) time here. Perfect for 1-2 people. The place is in great shape and the appliances are all modern and functioning. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of gadgets (including pizza slicer) and, unlike many other VRBOs that only have the condiments/spices that others have left behind, this one has a full supply. Coffee maker comes with coffee filters and there's a supply of Splenda. (If you want real sugar, bring your own.) The place was nice and quiet at night, no loud raucous parties (some construction noise during the day, but nothing terribly annoying). Far enough away from Cabo and yet minutes away by Uber. There's a grocery store across the highway. If you're young, it's walkable. If you're old and achy like me, meh, just take an Uber there or else visit the cantina on the premises that has a limited supply of basic food items/drinks. if there's a negative, I sure didn't encounter one.

The perfect place to stay

Our stay at this condo was amazing. It is equipped with everything that you need for a beach/pool vacation. The host David was so friendly and accommodating, and he was very easy to communicate with. The staff on the property is also very friendly and helped us with activities, transportation, and any questions we had. The beach nearby is semi private which was perfect because we did not have to share it with lots of others. The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook as well. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Wonderful Experience

We had a really wonderful experience here! David is very accommodating and the VRBO had everything we needed for the beach. Many beaches in Cabo are very rocky/un-swimable, but the beach that Misiones has access to is perfect! We also booked a lot of activities/tours, and because this VRBO was part of the Misiones del Cabo, the tour shuttles had no problem coming to our location. There are nice restaurants around, and also a convenience store with snacks and drinks. We also loved the pool with the swim up bar. I can be anxious about travel, and I worry about little things- like is the bed comfortable, does the toilet flush right, is the AC good? Lol. I had nothing to worry about here, everything was perfect! It was even better than I imagined!

Perfect Condo!

We were in Cabo for a wedding next door at the Cape.we could not have been happier with our stay. The condo is beautiful (the pictures do not do it justice). It’s well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen and for day or two at the beach. The pool right outside with a bar and grill makes it so easy and the convenience store onsite has a wide variety of items you may need/want. We will definitely be back!

Amazing Property!!

We stayed here because we had friends getting married at The Cape & wanted to be close. This condo was absolutely stunning & the pictures don’t do it justice! It was spacious & very clean & modern. The bed was comfortable & the balcony had a gorgeous view of the pool & ocean. The kitchen was full stocked & has 2 welcome beers & bottles of water. There is a market that is not even a 2 minute walk to where you can buy beer, water, soda, alcohol, snacks & anything else you might need. The condo has tons of storage. It included beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, coolers & a beach bag. It is a very short walk to the beach & is very private. The pool is nice & the pool bar has very reasonably priced drinks & food. The Manager on site for this condo was extremely responsive & attentive. I definitely won’t hesitate to book this again!

Wonderful Getaway Rental

This property is fantastic. David is a great host. The view from the condo, the location, and the access to a more private beach as well as a public beach with sunset views were our favorite aspects. The condo itself is beautifully updated and includes many thoughtful amenities, including snorkeling gear, beach chairs and an umbrella. The kitchen is stocked and the grill works great. Large supermarkets and some restaurants are nearby, making things very convenient. We did find it easier to rent a car, but I imagine using Uber is an option. We’d love to return!

Cabo stay

Place, location, facilities, everything was fantastic. Only issue was at check in. The location was not ready for check in at our arrival time. Not a big deal and the owner was very responsive to correct the issue and the place was very clean once we were able to go in. I would not think this is a normal occurrence, rather a minor one time incident. I thought we worked through it with them very nicely and he was very adaptable to us checking out a little later.

Prompt and Perfect

Throughout the entire process- from booking, communicating with questions, arrival through departure David and his rental were thoughtful and responsive. The directions were clear and the property itself was perfect as a "home-base" for a wedding at the property next door. The pools are stunning and folks friendly. The condo has everything you need. It was easy to get groceries and supplies with a Walmart stop on our way in, along with supplements from the Market on site. The pool meals were delicious and affordable. It was a great 5 day stay without any hiccups-- which is priceless when vacation time is limited!

The perfect location

We arrives a few days after Hurricane Norma had landed. The Condo was perfect, very clean just like pictures. HOA crews were visible everyday has they continued the clean up. Location was perfect for us. We so enjoyed all the amenities provided. It was just what we needed to celebrate our anniversary. We are hoping to return. We have nothing bad to mention we loved it all.

Great Condo for the money

Upon arrival we found the condo and its surrounding exactly like it was described on the VRBO website and shown in photos. A very clean, very well furnished, modern, well equipped, condo, with huge lanai/balcony and a working grill on it. Everything was working well, as described in the ad. Also, the condo manager was available 24/7, and all his instructions worked and were very helpful. We had a great time at that condo. in addition, we missed there a Kettle to boil water for coffees or teas, or even a coffee maker (it should be there). Also, a few blue ice packs could be placed inside a fridge to be taken with the cooler that is provided in that condo. But, overall, Five Star Rental!

Perfect for a secluded and relaxing stay

This unit was exactly what I was looking for. There were some hiccups upon check-in, but they were resolved quickly and satisfactorily. I wanted somewhere quiet (tho I was there at low season) and secluded, but not too isolated. There is a modern grocery store about a 30 minute uphill walk away (you have to cross a very busy street), and a mini mart onsite that is fine for drinks, snacks, bread, etc. There is a high end hotel right next-door and you can make use of its restaurants and there is also a restaurant called Jazz on the Rocks which I highly recommend for sunset dinner. The pool also has a small cafe which is good for breakfast, and serves burgers/ seafood for lunch/dinner but not many options if you don’t eat seafood/meat (there are minimal options around if you are vegan just FYI). The beach is nearby (down an easy flight of stairs) but I wasn’t that interested in the beach so only went to check it out. The apt has lots of beach stuff you can use. The unit itself is excellent - wonderful large rainfall shower, modern and well stocked kitchen, and in unit laundry. Comfortable couch and large balcony that is shaded most of the day other than early morning so is very pleasant. It took a day or so before the a/c made the until really cool, but I was also there the hottest time of year. You don’t need to keep the ac on all the time, the unit stayed cool once it got going. Uber was very easy to get and 20 minutes to the marina. Would definitely stay again

Cozy Honeymoon Destination

Absolutely loved the privacy. The space was lovely to stay in. Unfortunately the swim up bar was closed during our stay and the last two days, the pool was closed. Not the owners fault though!! Just close enough to town to be able to come and go. Nice restaurants near by. Would love to stay again eventually.

Wonderful Stay

My wife and I visited Cabo for a wedding, and we could not have stayed anywhere better. We stayed at Misiones del Cabo room 4206, and had a wonderful time. The room was walking distance to several restaurants, the beach, pool, and to The Cape hotel, which is where the wedding was. Transportation from the airport to Misiones was reserved through the SJD airport website, and was very easy and professional. Our luggage was brought to our room by the Misiones security/gate employees, so a tip was provided. The room was very spacious, clean, and there was even a Corona and water in the fridge upon arrival. The room had everything needed for a trip to Cabo: beach towells, washer/dryer, cooking seasonings, wifi, etc.. there is even a small market next door for simple groceries. Ubers and shuttle services were readily available for trips to the marina or downtown. Our return trip to the airport was booked through the SJD airport website. Stay here, you won’t regret it! We will be returning in the future for another stay!

Anniversary Celebration

We were very pleased with our stay, the condo is beautifully remodeled and exceptionally clean. The view of the pool and the ocean are amazing. The semi private beach was amazing, we spent a lot of time down there! We really appreciated how well the condo was stocked with all the things you can’t bring on a plane.. beach chairs, umbrella, towels, snorkel gear etc.. even an iron with steam and 2 luggage racks. We used it all! The kitchen is stocked with everything but food, we loved the glassware and dishes, our welcome packet had directions to the store they came from and we ran over there and got some of our own! Great restaurants and bars near by, downtown Cabo just a quick ride away, we didn’t rent a car, we took Uber everywhere and each trip was cheap! Highly recommend, we will definitely stay here again!

Peace of Paradise

We could not be more happy with the unit and resort! This was our first time staying out of the country at a resort that it not all inclusive. It is safe to say this condo did not disappoint!! The condo itself is updated, well stocked and has breathtaking views. My husband was able to cook fish that he caught on an excursion since the kitchen had everything he needed. We loved the food and drinks at the pool bar. The beach was a short walk and the unit had everything you might want for a trip to the beach. There are also plenty of restaurants/bars and stores either within walking distance or a short Uber ride. We were sad to leave, but hope to return to this little piece of paradise!
