Two weeks at Whitehaven

We enjoyed our stay at Whitehaven. The house is well laid out and easy to live in with wonderful views to the ocean. However some renovation is needed to provide more comfortable modern living. Generally the lighting, beds and Wifi need to be updated and there is no AC in the masterbedroom, although there is AC in the living area and in the other three bedrooms.. A bigger refrigerator/freezer and a modern cooktop would be welcome changes to the kitchen area.

Fabulous View

Really enjoyed staying at this property which was very well appointed and within walking distance to the beach. Great views from the lounge and balcony and chose it due to the property was advertised as a house for 8 and had sufficient furniture to accommodate 8 adults - just a shame that the cost of the house in peak season $800+pn did not include linen which cost extra

Overall the property is great with a top location and amazing terrace with views of the sea. It is let down by the need for some maintenance, especially the fly screens and doors. Given the price $$$$$ I was expecting everything to be perfect.

Eagle Bay escape

Great house to relax and enjoy the view. Main bed and ensuite is upstairs with the rest of the bedroom downstairs. Only 5 min walk down a steep hill to the beach a bit longer getting up the hill. Neighbours are litterally a stone throw away not like some other rentals which are more secluded. Generally a great spot to stay.

Accommodation is great and suitable for at least 6 adults.

We would strongly recommend to add the following utensils to make life easier: Tupperware Kitchen Scissors A proper can opener as the one available was not working properly. Fix the fluorescent light on the alfresco. Sheeting that is actually fit for the bed ... not 10 sizes too big.

Great house in a great location.

Whitehaven is a great house in a great location overlooking Eagle Bay. Stunning views of the ocean nestled in the natural surrounds. The house itself is great for a big family or multiple couples, very spacious and the fireplace is great for winter.

Weekend getaway

House was clean and comfortable. Backs onto a busy road and quite a lot of traffic noise especially when windows open. I slept in the bedroom with single beds and the I didn't enjoy the pump noise every time someone turned on the water. Not fully airconditioned and only 1 split system in the living area. Overall still had a good time, great location. only a few minutes to beach and 9 minutes to Dunsborough.

Great views

We had a lovely stay. Great ocean views, lovely spa bath in the Master Suite and a nice open plan living area. Great responsiveness from the property agent with a small issue we had during our stay. We had a great time, thank you.

needs some attention

overall good. a bit more attention to cleaning. discovered the second night, one of the rear windows was open, would not close fully also the sliding door to the pool room was not locked. BBQ could do with a bit of attention, matt needs replacing. car port area and entry area was covered with leaves. TV reception very poor, most channels no reception, channels with reception had broken reception.
