I called the hotel and ordered a shuttle service that would catch me up at the airport and drive me to the hotel. The receptionist I spoke to by phone was very kind. Was a very pleasant first impression. The shuttle transport costs around 900 Argentinian pesos = 20$ . Thats a a fair price. It´s cheaper than a taxi and only about 3$ more than an Uber. The Welcome at the hotel was kind and check in was very fast. They use Key Cards. at the lobby they have a computer for public use. The wifi worked everywhere. My room was #129 and I definetly recomend it, No noises at all (as I ordered a room to inside, not to the stree.The beds had a hard matrace, was great. The Flat screen Tv worked good and the Remote control was clean and worked properly. As I watch the spanish channels I don´t remember if they also have english channels. But beleive me , there more than 50 entertaining channels. Considering the price of the breakfast it was terrific! There are no hot meals like scrambled eggs or bacon, but the variety was ok for the price you pay. In the lobby you can buy cold drinks 24hours like Pepsi, water, Quilmes beer (very tasty) and for incredible cheap prices, almost the sime as if you´d buy it at the supermarket... 1 beer is about 1$ (500ml). on the next building there is a Supermarket. Buses leave 2 corners away from 9th july street. Very close to Downtown (15min).

Good location

Staff can help arrange taxi to/from hotel. Location makes it easy to walk but they said it was not safe to walk at night. Room needed renovation but I saw other rooms which were much better.

The hotel was ok. We booked premium room - don’t really know what was premium about it, very basic room, quite small, small bathroom. We had a lot of luggage and had problems moving around. The safe didn’t work - called the reception twice, never got it fixed. Small bathroom, no mirror in the room, just the bathroom. Very thin doors - we could hear everything In the morning. The location was ok, about 20 min walk to the obelisco and 25-30 to San Telmo. WiFi a bit slow but working okay inside the rooms. Nice and friendly staff.

Low cost hotel for 1 night

I needed a low cost place to stay for 1 night. This hotel had the right price and the bed was comfortable. The people on the desk were very helpful seeing I don't speak Spanish.

SUBE card is needed for all public transit. The front desk reception lend me the card so I don’t need to apply. They also called for a taxi for me. My friend left something in the room. They immediately wrote to her.

Good for families.

We were grateful to hotel for arranging transfer from airport for our family of 5 with lots of luggage just after midnight. Room arrangement was fabulous! Breakfast included. Multi-lingual front desk staff. Air conditioning worked fabulously however it made a grinding noise about every 30 seconds which we spoke to the front desk about first thing in the morning. They told us they would have someone take a look at it. We went sightseeing for the day and when we came back the power was out in about 1/3 of the hotel, including one if our rooms. We were told it would be back on in about an hour. It did not come back on for at least 24 hours. Luckily our family had two rooms or this would have been a deal breaker as there was no air conditioning, hair dryers, lights in the bathroom or power for charging electronics. When the power did come back on and we asked again about the grinding sound from the a/c keeping us awake, we were told they would not have time to get to it. That was disappointing as we had been fairly satisfied even with the power outage. The rooms were clean except for leaking bidet and poorly designed, mildewing showers which left a bad smell when bathroom door was open.

Not a good part of town

I was told at reception that it was fine to travel on my own in the day, but it was unsafe at night. The area looked unsafe. I also found the rooms to look unfinished. For eg, the bathroom walls looked like someone forgot to finish painting them! I found another hotel in a much nicer neighbourhood. The reception staff were pleasant & breakfast was basic, but included.

Great hotel!

Everything was great! The hotel lobby was clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially since I was traveling in Buenos Aires by myself and did not speak fluent Spanish. My room was clean, quiet, and spacious. Great price and location within Buenos Aires for walking around the city and a block away from the subway train station. Would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Buenos Aires!

Thinking about staying a hostel? Try this Hotel!!

I was looking for an accomodation in Buenos Aires' center. This a very convinient option for a reasonable price. The facilities are completely revovated. Rooms are wide and really clean. The staff is very kind and helpfull. The location is ideal: close to a subway station and a couple of bus stops. You are two blocks away from famous 9 de Julio Av and 15 minutes walking from San Telmo. The only thing that might be problematic is the lack of ilumination on the streets around the hotel, which might be a bit uncomfortable if you are staying late night. But appart from this a great option if you are open to go for the next level of budget than a simple hostel.
