It's a new property with a lot of potential, but they have to work out some startup problems. In our case, we went through multiple rooms with broken shower faucets. Very solvable, but clearly still a problem. The elevators had problems too. We had a good start otherwise. Nothing will fix the dodgy neighborhood, but you may not care about that. Breakfast was great.

Great hotel with excellent breakfast!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel as a solo business traveler. The room was modern and comfortable, with a super-comfy bed, high-quality linens, and everything spotlessly clean. All the complimentary items were provided, including bottled water, tea, and coffee. I also opted for the breakfast, which was delicious and offered a wide selection, from made-to-order omelettes to fresh fruit, pastries, and more. The staff were outstanding. The receptionists, as well as all other team members, were friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed happy to work here, which created a very welcoming atmosphere. One note: the bathroom has a very modern glass design, which looks stylish but doesn’t offer much privacy. For couples, this might not be ideal. Also, the view from the breakfast area overlooks some graffiti on the street outside. A suggestion would be to consider frosting the lower windows for a more pleasant dining experience. The neighbourhood has a strong multicultural feel, and there’s a great little restaurant just 50 meters away that’s worth trying. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for business trips. The location is central, the rooms are excellent, and it makes for a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Nice boutique hotel

Loved the hotel, great bathroom amenities that lots of hotel no longer offer (dental kit, comb, slippers, etc). Knew it was not central - not close to grand place when we booked .. it allowed us to explore other places we probably wouldn’t if we stayed near grand place, area felt safe. Staff were attentive and nice (one per shift at the lobby) even brought our luggages to our rooms(adrives early and left our luggages and when it was check in time our luggages were already delivered to our room). Only wish the bathroom had more privacy, you can see through the clear bathroom doors. Close to public transport, there’s bus stop right across the hotel and metro a 5-10min walk.

had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The overall experience was truly enjoyable, and I must say — the breakfast was absolutely the best I’ve ever had in a 4-star hotel! A wonderful variety and great quality that really stood out. The hotel is located near the North Station, which is convenient for travel, though personally, I would opt for public transport or a taxi rather than walking from there. The city centre is about a 15-20 minute walk away, which is quite manageable, and there’s also a bus stop nearby that makes getting around even easier.

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at the Liman Hotel at the beginning of June this year, and we are still talking about what an exceptional experience it was. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the property's perfect blend of modern design and impeccable cleanliness. The room was not just a place to sleep; it was a beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed retreat after a day of exploring Belgium. However, what truly sets the Liman Hotel apart is its incredible staff. The owner's friend who manages the property is an absolute treasure. His kindness and warmth made us feel like welcomed friends, not just guests. The most thoughtful gesture capped our stay: we had a very early flight and had to check out long before breakfast was served. Without us even asking, he prepared a generous and hearty "to-go" breakfast for us to take to the airport. This level of attentive and personal care is rare and so deeply appreciated. The combination of a beautiful, A-class modern property and this degree of genuine, five-star hospitality is unbeatable. We have stayed in many hotels, but the Liman Hotel stands out as one of the very best. If our travels ever bring us back to Belgium, we will not hesitate to book our stay here again.
