Casco Bay Getaway

Swim in the warm waters of Maquoit Bay, view sunsets from the hot tub, sip cocktails on the large deck, and in the evening toast marshmallows over a campfire. A private retreat just 5 miles south of Bowdoin College with easy access to summer music, theater offerings, and great local restaurants. A kayak and life vests are available for your use and an outdoor shower overlooking the water. A short bike ride from Paul’s Marina which offers ice cream, penny candy, lobsters and boat services.
Our neighbor will stop by daily to feed the chickens and gather fresh eggs; she is available if any assistance is needed.
Other local areas for excursions: Portland, Bath, Popham Beach and Morse Mountain, Reid State Park or Island hopping in Casco Bay.

WORTH EVERY PENNY

The house is beautiful, and honestly the pictures on VRBO don't do it justice at all. The place, from location, to style of home, to decor inside has so much character. Brunswick is an awesome large town/small city that is very clean and friendly with tons to offer. The house is great for relaxing and low tide has as much to offer as high tide on the mud flats. There was an issue with residential construction noise of the house next door and the host was very effective at working with the other homeowner to come to a solution. Already looking into dates to book again next year.

Could not ask for more

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. It was more spacious than expected with so many activities for the kids… swimming, kayaking, zip line, air hockey! The location is great, a remote feel, yet close to town and anything you could need. Best of all my teenage son had his own bathroom. :) The property owners were very helpful and responsive. We’d love to go back.

Perfect Coastal Maine retreat

We had a fantastic stay. Excellent kayaking for beginners (but avoid low tide, since Maquoit bay has a lot of mud flats in low tide). The house kayak is good, and we rented more from Seaspray. Even the lovely pictures do not do justice to this beautiful spot. The house is comfortable and well appointed. Looking forward to coming back!
